Cheaper than anywhere else by a mile! some places are more than double the price. Imo it has the most Iconic/nostalgic star trek theme of them all. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gX9FU8bmxQs Read More

It's never going to come out on bluray. It was only ever shot in SD video. Where as TOS was shot on film from season 2 onwards. That's why it's on bluray, because they could clean it up, like was done with X-files.

I just bought Voyager for £42 from Zoom. As always, never the right time to buy!

Cheap but it's so much less effort to watch on Netflix.

All the Star Trek shows with the exception of Star Trek Enterprise's last few seasons (they switched to HD cameras if I remember) were shot on 35mm (or Super35) film. There shouldn't be a huge need to 'clean it up' as it should be in very good shape (like The X-Files I'd imagine it was transferred then stored), but some of effects were created in standard definition.

The only thing holding Voyager and Deep Space 9 from been mastered in high definition is money.
