I enjoyed it too! As does my son! Was this not on the 3 for £15 deal on hmv the other day?

still is on 3 for £15 offer.

I have been looking for this dvd at a bargin price for a while, I have got eps 2 & 3. from various promotions but not ep 1 and I am not watching them until I have 1. Even though it is a terrible movie.

Finally watched these three films in recent weeks. EP1 is okay aside from JarJar Binks (worst fictional character EVER!). EP2 is also okay but very slow in places. EP3 is good, best of the three. But the overall impression I got is that George Lucas REALLY needs to hand the scripts over to someone else once he's got the basic story, because his dialogue is horrendous - it's like listening to a soap opera written by a 5 year old sometimes.

Episode 1 is the only Star Wars I don't own (and never will!). I like the pod race but would rather just have the superior version of that scene off one of the DTS test discs.

got 5 of the 6 films on dvd, this being the only one i havent got yet, waiting for it to come down in price even more before i even think about getting it.

I watched this for the first time a last week, and it was better than I though it would be. I've got Ep 2 sitting ready to watch in the next few days as well. But I have to agree about the Jar Jar Binx catastrophe... he was irritating!

Loved the pod races, loved Ewan McGergor...(love him anyway) and though it was a good watch overall :)

I thought Long Way Round was absolutely brilliant! Even though he wasn't acting as such, it's the best McGregor material I've seen.
