Been waiting for these to come down in price. I have the star wars box set, but nothing beats watching the original films I saw as a kid. Voted hot.

Already got the Special Editions but I did miss Han shooting first, so I've bought them all again.

Empire is easily the best, followed by New Hope . Jedi would be better san Ewoks!!
#15

Whilst the Starwars films are top draw I must disagree with your opinion that these are the best film films ever. That accolade goes to "The Lord of the Rings Trilogy.:p

I know what you mean - I also have many different versions, although not as many as you!

I'm currently looking (and have been for the last couple of years), for a copy of Revenge of the Sith on VHS...once I have that, it 'will be a day long remembered' !

Great post OP - heated !

You need to watch Randall's summing up of the Lord of the Rings trilogy in Clerks II !

(Don't get me wrong, LotR is a great trilogy, but there is only one trilogy, and thats the Star Wars trilogy !):-D:-D:-D

This is actually only the second time I have bought the films, but that was mainly due to the sickening price I had paid for the Laserdisc Set. At the time, it was the greatest thing I owned.
