i just cant get into this cartoon

Perhaps because you are a grown up and this is for Kids!
I really tried getting into this when it was on Sky.
Sadly, it moves rapidly from "ok" to "boring" to "utter sh1te" very quickly.

If you really must waste a chunk of you life watching this Star Wars cash-in, don't waste 15quid and wait till it comes back on Sky
It all depends how story heavy you like your entertainment.
Yeah, its feels very odd rooting for the storm troopers when you know they're all a bunch of traitorous d*cks that are eventually gonna try kill the Jedi anyway
