Direct from Starbucks or a supermarket?

Sorry - just updating post (I don't post much!)

Tesco, instore and online.

Are these actually any good? I would never consider buying them at this price - seems extortionate for what is still, effectively, instant coffee. Just curious..

I personally like them. I was bought a travel mug which also holds the sachets, as a gift. I guess it's a preference, and when i'm in a hurry then this, for me, is better than instant and is close as you'll get to 'proper' coffee whilst just adding hot water. Taste test here:

I had a taster instore last week - gave em back, tastes like freeze dried coffee!

The coffee is horrible! I bought some when they launched - the rest of the pack is still in my drawer at work!

To be fair, as far as instant coffee goes, the Italian Roast VIA is phenomenal. It's better than any Nescafe or Kenco coffee out there. At 30p a cup, it's a bit pricey, but I drink it when I feel like having something that tastes like a decent cup of coffee, without having to brew a whole cup. It's also good at stopping me from walking into a Starbucks or Costa, and throwing down £4 on a cuppa!

I'll be more than happy to take the rest of the pack off your hands if you're not going to touch it ;)
