a must see:thumbsup:

I thought it would be rubbish but I quite liked it. Voted hot!

ditto - I was dragged along to see this and expected it to be some cringeworthily cheesy kids movie with bad acting, but it was great! It's a breath of fresh air to see a modern fantasy movie that doesn't dissappoint, with fun likeable characters and some great humour too.

really enjoyed this too. expected it to be a confusing mess (like The Golden Compass), but it was one of the best "kids" movies I've seen

I soooo hated Golden Compass. This film is superb.

Better, IMO, and that's a first for me.

Same here! We watched the Golden Compass and really didn't like it. Then shortly after we saw Stardust and loved it and said at the time how much better it was than Golden Compass.

So I can recommend Stardust too - great film! 8-)

I thought it was OK. It was not as good as the Princess Bride. And Ricky Gervais's character was terrible. Bit parts like that can really harm a film.
