All 214 episodes from all 10 series of the series are included here. The fantasy action and adventure that began with the Roland Emmerich movie STARGATE continues in the thrilling television series. Grab your map of the galaxy's scattered Stargates, and step through to new worlds of adventure and danger! Also includes the feature-length STARGATE adventures THE ARK OF TRUTH and CONTINUUM.

This Stargate SG.1 boxset is a complete collection of the science-fiction based television show - featuring all episodes from series 1 through to series 10!

The Stargate is an intergalactic gateway, developed by an ancient civilization, that links other planets from other solar systems to ours. The U.S. Air Force assembles a Stargate team headed by Colonel Jack O'Neill (Richard Dean Anderson of "MacGyver") for interstellar peace-keeping missions. Boasting incredible special effects sequences, rapid-fire pacing and awesome scenes of alien warfare, Stargate SG-1 is your gateway to pulse-pounding, sci-fi action.

Stargate - Continuum: Following SG-1 and The Ark of Truth, Stargate: Continuum is the latest chapter in this incredible series. The venerable Richard Dean Anderson returns to the fold, whilst the late Don S. Davis makes his final appearance as General George Hammond. Spectacular sci-fi at its best!

While SG-1 attends the execution of Ba'al, the last of the Goa'uld System Lords, Teal'c and Vala inexplicably disappear into thin air. Carter, Daniel and Mitchell race back to a world where history has been changed: the Stargate program has been erased from the timeline. As they try to convince the authorities what's happened, hundreds of Goa'uld motherships arrive in orbit, led by Ba'al, his queen Qetesh (Vala), and his first prime, Teal'c. The remaining SG-1 members must find the Stargate and set things right before the world is enslaved by the Goa'uld.

Stargate - The Ark Of Truth: In search of an Ancient artifact they hope can defeat the oppressive Ori, the team learns that the Ori are set to launch a final assault on Earth and a double-crossing I.O. operative is aboard the Odyssey (This storyline, wraps up the primary storyline of season 9 and 10 of SG1).

Support the Stargate team, the series was absolutely brilliant
I have all the rips...and I'll be sticking with them, 56 DVDs is too much. I have seen every episode multiple times and changing DVDs is one thing I would be too lazy to do!

Oddly enough, I bought this last year and watched all the discs... strange I know!

This is a great price considering how many episodes you get, plus the two movies as well.
Voted hot, great price. Its alot of discs, but so are most of these complete collections, this is 10 seasons of around 24 episodes each afterall (plus movies) - if you prefer rips then you still have to actually buy the DVD's first to rip them (unless you download them which ofc would be cheaper if you aint paying...but that applies to most stuff).
Are there any plans to bring this show out on Blu-Ray?
Like some above have all the rips and really dont have any more room for more DVD's but cracking deal.

On a lighter note, one for all SG1 fans...
Cracking deal :)
Used to love this at first, but the fights in quarries that were supposed to be other worlds got a bit tiresome in the end. I say in the end, what I really mean around the middle. And I say tiresome, what I really mean is it made me want to kill them for taking me for a fool who couldn't spot it was the same quarry.
Stuff that is constantly on terrestrial and Sky immediately loses most of its value to me. I'd love this at about £40, but if you have this on your shelf at home I think that all coolness and confidence will leave your body every time you think about the fact that you own it. "Oh god, sorry, I don't know what came over me, I had a SG1 boxset attack.."
good find
after maybe the first 2 seasons with the older special effects its really much more watchable. If you havent seen it then its a treat to be watched through. Considering the budget then complaints about quariies seem a little unfair and they did as much variation as possible imo.

Really fantastic series, but my point would be maybe about even 56 discs occupying a big space. Imagine if this lot was on VHS. Anyway thoroughly enjoyable excpet the films are a bit naff. No the same after season 7 , but sstill pretty good plots.

Agreed. Once 'Hammond' (fantastically played by Don S. Davis I might add) had all went downhill.

Then Richard Dean Anderson left the series after....then I was only watching it being a die hard fan.

Btw, anyone got any thoughts on Stargate Universe? I thought the first season was a bit naff. Too much depth on characters I think...I like a big of old SG1/Atlantis guns FTW.
Are there any plans to bring this show out on Blu-Ray?
You never know, the first couple of seasons were 16mm the effects were 35mm then the middle was all 35mm and the last few season were HD so it looks like a total HD blu-ray transfer of the entire run would be possible.

extra fiver for a much better series here

I personally love both, and couldn't rate one over the other - they're just different.
You can't watch Battlestar Galactica at teatime though because Baltar is constantly bonking his invisible girlfriend.

Funny, that's the same reason the Misc section is so quiet on a weekend, they're all doing a Baltar.
wether or not you like it its still a good deal so hot
