is there a price guarantee there? ie if the price increases will you still pay the price at which you ordered?

There's something screwy with the RRP going on I think - Play are also showing it at £60. Amazon US have it $90 - Strange

Starship Troopers (Dir. Paul Verhoeven) (1998): The Federation needs you for a desperate do-or-die mission in 'Starship Troopers', the ultimate sci-fi action thriller from the director of 'Total Recall'... hailed for its mind-blowing special effects and amazing futuristic settings!

The new millenium brings man face-to-face with the deadliest enemy of all... an intelligent race of alien bugs, some thirty feet tall, some that fly and all capable of destroying every living thing on Earth! That's where brave young freedom fighter Johnny Rico comes in. While Johnny trains in an elite infantry unit, his stunning girlfriend Carmen becomes a top starship pilot - but is seduced by a suave flight instructor!

Join their mission to the aliens' home planet where an all out inter-planetary war is about to begin... with mankind on the line. Epic filmmaking and jarring action sequences that put you in the middle of it all make 'Starship Troopers' the definitive space-age story in this or any other universe.

Starship Troopers 2: Hero Of The Federation (Dir. Phil Tippett) (2003): In this rapid-fire sequel to the cult favorite, the Federation's best Mobile Infantry unit goes back into action against the Bug horde. But this time, the Bugs are waiting for them. Trapped on a remote outpost light years from the nearest reinforcements, a small group of soldiers fights an enemy smarter and more cunning than any they've ever faced. Now they must join forces with an infamous traitor if they are to have any hope.

Starship Troppers 3: Marauder (Dir. Edward Neumeier) (2008): A Federation Starship crash-lands on the distant Alien planet OM-1, stranding beloved leader Sky Marshal Anoke (Stephen Hogan) and several others, including pilot Lola Beck (Jolene Blalock). It's up to Colonel/General Johnny Rico (Casper Van Dien), reluctant hero of the original Bug Invasion on Planet P, to lead a team of Troopers on a daring rescue mission.

They can't charge you any more than the amount at which your order is placed. :)

Hmmm, the first film is great, the second is terrible and I hear the third isn't much better. Might be a good price for three films on BR, but 2 of them ARE rubbish.

£35.97 on axelmusic... so it is a very good price... i think this should be a sale price/lowest selling price that they were given

Think its £15.95 for the 1st one alone, so £2 for the others is good....

but cant see them honouring this to be honest

? Misprice and they would no doubt cancel orders as they have until the end of September to do so but if you want them order as their is no harm in trying

Have to agree the first one was ok, second was rubbish and heard the third is slightly better than number 2 but not got round to watching it yet
#9
part 2 was absolute toilet - i hear part 3 is actually a comedy and has the star of part 1.
part to was a verhoeven classic - a good pairing with robocop which he also did and shares it's satirical bent with.
#10
OMG - there's been more than one of these films???
#11
I found out recently there was a 2 but now a 3 as well ?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Might be worth a punt at this price......
#12
Part 1 V good
part 2 ****
Part 3 serously pass me a gun bad!!

I watched the third just because "it can't popssibly be worse than the second"
WRONG again:oops:

Oh dear - that bad is it

There's some mention of a BD live extra on the 3rd film which allows you to "upload your photo, become a trooper and insert yourself into key scenes in the film using BD-Live."

What's all that about !!??

Have to agree - good price, but you're only really getting one good film for your money. The others are - literally - straight to DVD.
#15
given the reviews on here, may be worth waiting a bit for it to become £9 for the box set:-D

Correct!

The only reason someone's said 'apparently 3 is a comedy' is because it's so bad, it's funny.

How have you all seen 3 its not out yet?

Yep - I think the point is whether the RRP for these and others is correct though. Personally I think there's about a dozen or so retailers all showing the incorrect price at the mo. :)

Actually it allows the actors to upload their photo and for the BluRay player to remove them digitally from the film, to avoid embarrassment.

I saw the second one, which was pretty dire, and never knew there was a third. Will give this a pass methinks, but still a good price if you're a masochist.

The 3rd looks excellent cant wait.

Had them delivered from zavvi last week for this price , only watched the first one so far, worth it for the 1st movie alone!!
#32
£42.95 delivered, might want to update the thread :)
#33
ordered from Tesco when they had the misprice of around £17, got cancelled without even getting an email from them, only found out when I check on my account :x

lucky you guys got zavvi, the hut etc to honour this, it's got to be misprice at aound £17.
#34
Honestly, don't waste your money on this. I'm a big fan of the first film. The 2 sequels are an insult and embarrassing to watch.
#35
If the second film is toilet then the third film is the s*** in the toilet! Its one of the worst films I have ever seen. So bad its unwatchable. If anyone thinks paying £2 extra to get vols 2 &3 is a good deal then i'm LMAO.
