I have one of these, works well but the only downside I found is all the plug sockets face each other, so if you have 2 adapters that jut out above the top, you can't use the socket on the opposite side.

I have a few plugs like this, so its effectively a 5-6 way extension for me. BTW obviously be careful what you're plugging in as to not overload the socket!
