Same here - looks like there migth be one more day of offers as well - then buy any of the items/packs on sale that havnt been in the daily offers - Lucas arts pack and maybe xcom are tempting

seems like a good deal but I am not voting...

I dont like the idea of having access to my games being at the mercy of a company. If steam was a portal to download games which you could play regardless of whether you can sign in or not I would be all over this lol but anyways.

Painkiller also on the front page now for

Painkiller: Collectors Pack
The critically-acclaimed and award-winning FPS franchise includes: Painkiller: Black Edition, Painkiller Overdose and Painkiller: Resurrection.... more

This is just the sort of whinging and ill-informed drivel I didn't expect of this place

Firstly, you can backup your games locally if you wish to meaning if Steam disappeared tomorrow, they'd still work.

Secondly, Steam offers a service of keeping your games patched-up to date - offers seamless DLC installation and is generally EXACTLY what a digital download service should be (an online games repository)

You can install and play any of your games on any machine anywhere anytime - this in itself is just fantastic.

Hell I'd pay MORE for a game on Steam that I would other services - let alone the bargain prices they're offering ATM

Anyone - and I mean ANYONE voting these cold is a moron and should be banned from the site IMO - none of those games is cheaper anywhere else, there is no reason to vote em cold...

Also - WTF is this expired now? Seriously, can the mods get a grip on the stupider members before they career us off the cliff entirely??

There is definately 1 more day - 5pm Sunday is the last round of offers and all offers will end around 5pm Monday (UK) time.

Maybe because its a duplicate thread posted after this one. Eitherway i think the only decent offer there is Elder Scrolls: Morrowind but even that isn't amazing.

Looks like the mods have lost the plot and closed that thread down too

I have Trine and its brilliant. You are able to swap between a warrior, hunter and wizard to solve different puzzles in a platform like game. The physics are quite fun to play with also :)

Heres some reviews http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/pc/trine?q=trine

agreed Trine is well worth the money, imo miles better than the overrated Braid
