Batman: Arkham City builds upon the intense, atmospheric foundation of Batman: Arkham Asylum, sending players flying through the expansive Arkham City - five times larger than the game world in Batman: Arkham Asylum - the new maximum security "home" for all of Gotham City's thugs, gangsters and insane criminal masterminds. Featuring an incredible Rogues Gallery of Gotham City's most dangerous criminals including Catwoman, The Joker, The Riddler, Two-Face, Harley Quinn, The Penguin, Mr. Freeze and many others, the game allows players to genuinely experience what it feels like to be The Dark Knight delivering justice on the streets of Gotham City.

Batman: Arkham City - Game of the Year Edition packages new gameplay content, seven maps, three playable characters, and 12 skins beyond the original retail release:

Maps: Wayne Manor, Main Hall, Freight Train, Black Mask, The Joker's Carnival, Iceberg Long, and Batcave
Playable Characters: Catwoman, Robin and Nightwing
Skins: 1970s Batsuit, Year One Batman, The Dark Knight Returns, Earth One Batman, Batman Beyond Batman, Animated Batman, Sinestro Corps Batman, Long Halloween Catwoman, Animated Catwoman, Animated Robin, Red Robin and Animated Nightwing

G2A are allowed. I posted for them a few days back.

Sadly, both now are, at least for the time being, :(

What background information do you have on TriftShop, Illuisionary? Or are you just tarring a brush here?

It's funny how we're quick to condemn, but never question any seller on eBay, who could quite easily be doing the same thing under a branded name. Is the issue with Kinguin or TriftShop?

I suppose a lot are quite shady, not just eBay sellers but CDKeys too who are allowed.

But i think we all know why certain sites are allowed *cough* referral links *cough*

Well, as I'm sure you're aware. That's nothing to do with me. It's a great game at a great price. I just want to promote great deals for us, the gamers. I'm aware of the issues, I'm not stupid, but like I said earlier, we can't single out individual sellers on a platform very much like eBay.

We buy clothing off eBay that could be fake, or TVs that could be stolen, it's just the way the world is. I'm not promoting Kinguin as the seller, just TriftShop. It's a great price, that's undeniable, it's up to the individual if they wish to purchase.

CDKeys are a seller in their own right, rather than a platform for sellers of keys of unknown origin. They're quite open that the get at least some of their keys from buying from cheaper regions - so, while still not as wholly 'legitimate' as they might be, it's quite a different position from G2A/Kinguin, etc.- including eBay in the context of digital keys.

No complaints about TriftShop specifically, but with Kinguin as a platform.

I wasn't really looking to bring the debate into this thread - the link was just intended as informational in replying to JimBobJr's original question.

Personally I think it's ridiculous. I too don't wish to bring that discussion into here, but we're discussing a platform with multiple sellers, much in the same way that eBay, Amazon, Gumtree and many others work. They're all platforms that require trust, and we have to give that trust as a buyer. We (you) can't determine that any individual seller on any platform is a scammer, it's arrogant to do so.

You have nothing to base that on sadly. Over 1000 feedback and 100%. A couple of years ago people on here bought cheap consoles on here that never happened. Who decides what gets posted here illusionary, You? Covered by PayPal and the chances an Arkham City key getting revoked after all these years. It's just a bandwagon.

How do you get it for £1.34? Says £1.70 for me even after removing the Kinguin protection. I did get a 5% code but that only takes it to £1.63.

It's not about your key getting revoked more how the developer gets screwed over by keys being purchased with stolen credit cards then get charged back.

The developer gets screwed every time a pre owned game gets posted. I will say it again, what gets posted?

Yeah, but eBay and Amazon don't ask for an extra fee for 'buyer protection' like G2A or Kinguin do. Irrespective of the individual seller for each deal, buying from the platform is supporting that business model.

...It's a great game at a great price...
How exactly do you get this for £1.34? Even after removing the optional "buyer protection", payment by both PayPal and credit card seem to incur a payment fee.

seems like a good deal.

My apologies, I assumed there was a way to remove the protection, much like G2A.

I've expired the thread :)

You can remove the "buyer protection" (though I suspect that also removes any semblance of customer service you may have got should anything go wrong...), it's the payment fee you can't remove.

It seems that no matter what payment method you choose, there's always a fee. This would be the same for any Kinguin (and I believe G2A, too) deal.
