I'm not, it's good to let others know who for whatever reason can't be on Steam at the moment to be up to date with the best offers available. Hence I gave heat ;)

Plus latest patch took some of the sting out of the steam version.

Remember to add to the launch command line for the game: -norestrictions -nomemrestrict

Just lets you tweak the settings higher than what Rockstar recommend. ;)

For which you will need a supercomputer for after the latest patch for it. My FPS has more then halved.

Good deal though, managed to get it for the same price at xmas.

great deal! scorching infact. Usually I would never consider this as I have a PS3 and an Xbox 360......but..... is this compatible with mac? before all the geeks start a furore over my question a simple yes or no would suffice, thanks!

the new patch for this game really messes it up

I found the patch improved things for me, hd4870 512mb + ati 10.4a

My brother's rig was running it fine too, gtx280.

We both have quad cores though.

Will this run ok on a e7400(2.8ghz) core2duo,ati radeon 4670(1gb) and 4gb ddr2 ram system?its just that I heard that this game is a system resource hogger.

Brought this when it was on sale earlier in the week. Everything on low and I can barely reach 25fps. Doesn't make any sense. Maybe when those mid range nVidia GeForce 4XXs come out and I get to buy one things will improve.

My brother feels that the game isn't really even worth £5 lol.

We find that running with Definition off makes the game run smoother and of course that "console" blur is there.

I get some texture glitches which I tolerate, I only have 512mb vram but I want high textures :p

Steam Forum probably best to ask about dual core performance.

i7 myself and that's what's causing the problems, they have broken hyper-threading, only 4 of the possible 8 cores are ever working unlike before where all 8 were lit up.

Can't comment, I'm using i5 750 and my brother has my old Q9550.

I'm using this for my launch options -norestrictions -nomemrestrict -reservedApp 0

Everything on high @ 1080p (ranges 30/25/20) with definition off, feels playable.
