So I guess today is a greatest hits from the last week - pretty boring but I guess it gives you another chance to weaken / fail your resistance roll and purchase more games you wont play for a year or so ;)

Are Steam sales ever anything else? ;)

Boarderlands GOTY is cheaper at Amazon

but you don't get it instantly (you'll be lucky to get it at all with royal mail)

Can't be greatest hits - MW2 is on there ... £20 is just silly ...

Lara Croft is well worth it if you have someone to coop with ...

Thanks for taking the time to put out a list Crazy Jamie, heat added.

Glad they put Super Meat Boy on sale again as I totally forgot to buy it last time.

Happy gaming,
Scar

Just because these have been on sale a few days ago, it doesn't make it a cold deal! The Witcher, for example, sold out before some people had a chance to buy it.

People voting cold are probably just annoyed that there aren't any new deals today - but that disappointment should not be voiced by voting down. C'mon folks, those are some great deals!

have they put the crysis games on sale yet in there daily sales?

guess gives me more time to decide if I should get darksider or not, is super meat boy worth it?

bought the digital deluxe edition of bfbc2 from ea last night for £11.24, came with the vietnam expansion and 6 vehicles and weapons unlock. getting the steam version and the expansion from ea last night would have saved me 70p(£6.80 + £3.74 = £10.54) but would not have the 6 vehicles and weapons unlock, are the unlock worth the extra(i.e. are they just early unlock or exclusive?)? gtting it from steam would also have ment no 30 day download deadline like with ea.

got witcher when it was on sale earlier in the week, got lara croft when it was on sale for £4.99 just a little while back before the christmas sale. also already have the mass effect games otherwise would have gone for them.

The Indie deal of the day (AI War: Fleet Command) is apparently quite a good stratagy game. Been meaning to try it out so it seems rude not to at £1.80.

I was basing that on sales rather than quality of the deal ;)

Battlefield Bad Company 2 - Not sure if I should buy this on ps3 or pc, the thing is I wont build a pc until the end of jan/feb

I've not had a chance to play a huge amount, but from what I have I've loved AI War. It is VERY immersive and you could easily sink a huge amount of time into it!

I think that that 30 day limit is just to scare you as it said that about crysis warhead but I can still download it. I believe they changed the rules a while back as they had a lot of complaints

Come on Steam. Buck up! We expect better than this...

Is anybody else finding it painfully slow to download stuff from steam this christmas?

I haven't noticed much of a difference, then again I don't think I've really been on at peak time. No doubt it's a busy time of year for downloading once the sale has started, so a bit of slowdown isn't a huge surprise.

well got darksider in the end.
#22
these are alright if you missed some of these deals the other days

Unless you desperately want to play the games immediately I'd advise waiting to download and play them as the servers get busy during sales.
