This is the review from Which magazine:

DeLonghi VVX340 Ironing System Review

This Delonghi steam generator iron did well in our tests and is good value for money. However, it's not the most comfy iron to use.

The generator takes a good 5 to 6 minutes to warm up for use but, once ready, produces plenty of steam. This helped our testers speed through the ironing tasks we set, so it's a good choice if you have lots to iron.

Like most irons nowadays, this iron has a self-cleaning function which meant it did really well in our durability testing, continuing to produce steam without any need for descaling. You can refill the tank every half hour as necessary.

Handy features include a single power control for iron and generator, and a good-sized water tank (although the tank isn't removable).

Unfortunately, we found using this iron less enjoyable than others. Its handle is uncomfortable and our testers complained its steam pipe and power cord rubbed against their wrists.

Pros: High steam output, no problems with scaling

Cons: Uncomfortable handle, slow to cool down, no cord storage

These are the two best buys. I have the Tefal one which I like, but the water tank is in an odd place - you have to turn the iron upside down to fill it. And it doesn't hold a huge amount of water. I would recommend it though. amazon are selling them just now for £39.99

Thanks we had a tefal one that looked just like this - it ended up leaking from the filler bit which meant it was no good - thanks anyway
