Drop everything FD and play the rest of the game, you won't regret it :D

Loved this game. A bargain at this price!

I stopped playing it because of the annoying drawling accent and sad music. Way too American for me. I did find the semi secret basement nightclub amusing though. It would have been more fun with VR and real online players. Daisy was my favourite dancer!
£2.30 on Xbox1 russia if thats your forte

Just finished the first episode today and I wished I played this sooner. I previously tried Heavy Rain (similar movie/game concept) but just couldn't get in to it.

Everything from the voice acting to the scenery is stunning, DEFINITELY get this and give it a shot!

If the scene you're describing is the one I'm thinking of (the Vortex club party at the school), then that's towards the end of episode 4 i.e. near the end of the game. If you got that far why did you stop? If the music or characters' accents bother you, surely that's something you'd notice right at the start of the game? If my assumptions are correct then you've really missed out because the latter parts of the game are great, particularly the 'big reveals'. I felt real emotional weight towards the end.

So what's the semi secret basement nightclub you mentioned?

I started this but after just over an hour I decided it wasn't for me..... seemed it's target audience was teenage girls.

I think you should give it more time before deciding whether it's for you or not. I'm not going to suggest you buy it if you don't already have it, but at least get through the first episode. Unfortunately even that doesn't really give a sense of what the full experience is like but let me assure you, as a male in my early forties it is one of the best gaming experiences I've ever had, and I've been gaming a long time.

I feel that this is a game that will long be remembered as a special game, because it is. A future cult classic.

I want to get this at the same time I want to try and buy the physical limited edition set. I just bought Remember Me, Alice - Madness Returns and the Vanishining of Ethan Carter too in Christmas/New Year sales. When I think of the backlog I have across PS2, PS3, PSP, Xbox 360 and PC I get intimidated :D I think buying video games might be a hobby for me as well as playing them.

Agree! Up there as one of my all time favourite games! So much feels! Such an encapsulating game!

The premise is a rip-off of the Butterfly Effect but you actually give a **** about the protagonist in this ;)
It's a great story and the gameplay is more fun than other games in it's genre - a steal @ £4 - heat :)

There's only been two games I've played in my life that gives me that empty feeling after completing it and this is one of those games. The other is The Last of Us. If you haven't played this game do it. I would recommend playing it by yourself though so you get the full experience and not distracted. (That empty feeling is when I really feel for the characters and what happened, and I don't know what to do next - no other game is gonna give me the feels like this again).

Damnit Chloe. It can't be that hard to not die, I do it all the time, it's one of my main skills!

Played through it, although it was painful. Beautiful scenery. But the dialogue was too teenage American for me. Seems like it was made for teenage girls. Typical corny cheesy girl to girl trash talk kind of speech.

Am I right in thinking that if you buy the Assassins Creed Humble Bundle, you'll get 10% off the Humble Monthly, which gives you 10% of Humble Store purchases?

The cheapest way - and order - to get XCOM 2 and Life Is Strange.

This better on PS4 or PC??

This game is amazing. Even if you're not normally a fan of these types of games (like myself), I fully recommend. Soundtrack is awesome as well.

Doesn't really make a difference. It's not a demanding game. You won't see this on PS4 however at a discounted price very often. I would, however, if playing on PC, use a controller if you have one.

That's not correct. This was on PSN (PS4) for a similiar price just before Christmas. I downloaded the first episode to try, and then completely missed the great deal. Now they're £3.99 per episode. Gutted. Hopefully, PSN will do it again. I bought Until Dawn to play for now.

EDIT: just checked and the season pass was £4.99, but they also had Seasons 1-5 for the same price, but now it's been removed. There is a "complete" selection. So, I'll wait for it to come back down to £4.99.

First game in a long time that had me so emotionally invested.
Yes the main protagonist and most of the characters are American teenagers but that never stopped it drawing me in.
Probably in my top 3 games of all time (starting many moons ago with the C64, discounting typing my own games into a ZX81).
Maybe not everyone's cup of tea but at this price i'd say it is well worth the risk

Sorry, a better wording would have been "uncommon". It's been on sale a lot on PC. It's kinda like The Last of Us. It does go on sale, but not a lot. Really should have snatched that up, I haven't seen it come back since then :(

Agreed. Hated it

My usual sort of games are mass effect, Civilization, footy manager, elite dangerous.

Played this on xbox recently (was it part of games for gold?). Loved it, even wife was interested in it. Need to finish it before Andromeda is released!

Is this the complete game with all the episodes?

One of the best games of all time imo!

Highschool drama from the perspective of a teenage girl? For some reason I'm not sold on that idea.

You nearly persuaded me to give it another shot. But with time at a premium, god knows how many good games waiting in my steam list and Mass Effect approaching, it's just not a priority.
I believe you though :)

OK, here you go: https://youtu.be/-NCbEeAp-o8

Total Biscuit's review describes it exactly as that... Far too many gaming journalists are shills, so much garbage gets 10/10 these days so I'm very cautious about who gets my money... TB is one of the few opinions I trust, he didn't slate the game by any means, but I came away feeling like it was made for teenage girls.

Got it in writing? I have no time to watch a 22 min video to look for the words "life is strange is nothing more than a Highschool drama from the perspective of a teenage girl". Anyway it was a great game imo, one of, if not the best of its genre.

Try This War of Mine, oh and get the hankies ready. You will either end up frustrated, depressed or grieving. Amazing game though!
