Same, just wait for a sale it'll likely have one again. I wouldn't really pay more than £30 for this.

This...Isn't really a bargain. It regularly comes up for around the £15 region.

Sorry, but this is stone cold.
I got mine on sale for £16. And even for that price I think its rubbish. I hardly ever use it. Quality of stream and lag are fine for slower games. But anything fast moving won't give you a very good experience (think GTA V, racing etc).
Its just not worth it for the RRP. Especially from an Amazon marketplace seller.

To be fair any lag is down to your network.

I thought GTAV ran fine on mine. I am connected via ethernet both ways though. Also I set the quality to 'beautiful' if that makes any difference??

The only game I had issues with was Need For Speed (which isn't a Steam game) I can't seem to get any controller working properly and I have to use a 360 wired controller connected direct to my PC to play NFS.

I purchased mine when on sale over the festive period. I have it connected to my router via Ethernet as recommended and everything is super smooth. You can use over wifi but it can be more susceptible to lag issues depending on strength of signal and speeds. I recommend steam link, but it can be had for cheaper than this. Wait for a sale!

Perceived lag is a sum of many factors. Network being one of them. I run it off a gigabit port on a reasonably decent router. So the network lag is as good as it's going to be.

Thanks. I tried few different settings. Beautiful among them. I found lag was more pronounced when using higher quality settings. And even on beautiful the quality didn't quite match a directly connected screen. Mind you I play it with everything pretty much maxed out on a 50" screen.
I've seen some hacks enabling higher bitrates. Might try that.

Question, did you get controller working in GTA V via the Steam Link? Was it over wireless or plugged in?

Hi, I use a PS4 controller, pairs up via Bluetooth in the settings screen and stays paired up so you can switch the Steam Link on from the controller. I also have a wired 360 controller just in case the battery runs out or for a second player..
