Your world...Your rules! In Just Cause, you are a Latin field operative and specialist in regime change backed by top secret US government agency who will overthrow the corrupt government of San Esperito. The rogue South American state is suspected of stockpiling Weapons of Mass Destruction, and it's your mission to negate the threat this poses to world peace. It could be to your advantage that the tropical paradise is about to implode as various factions vie for power - it just needs a gentle nudge in the right direction.

Just Cause offers the freedom to tackle your assignments however you want: playing the island's factions against one another, inciting a rebellion among the masses and building alliances with rebel forces and drug cartels. The action takes place in an incredibly detailed game world which consists of over 250,000 acres of mountains, jungles, beaches, cities and villages. The island can be explored by land, sea and air, as you will have at your disposal one of the most varied and exciting array of vehicles ever seen in a video game.

Not personally a fan of the game but that's a pretty sweet price.

A near 7.5gb download, 3gb more than JC2!
#3
The second is far superior (and worth your money) imo.

Even more lame when JC2 'floats about' at under 2gb for pirates.
I bought Arkham Asylum earlier and I'm about to put my fist through the monitor. Already entered my GFWL details four times and restarted four times for so called updates. More like good reasons to pirate.

I normally sing the praises of PC gaming but this is absurd. Surely my Steam account and purchase should be enough...

Have had the EXACT same experience with bloody GFWL today. Really annoyed & haven't even gotten to play at all! Pirating it would have definitely been much easier. Smaller download, much less hassle. :-S

This is what annoys me about PC gaming all you get as a paying customer is invasive and obstrutive anti piracy stuff even though you've bought the game while pirates are able to by pass that sort of thing and can do what they want witht the game. It really annoys me that your punished for being a paying customer. Game companies need to realise that people are more than happy to pay for there games as they understand its the foundation of capitalism that you make something and you sell it for profit instead of treating all customers like potential criminals and the only things thats stops us is some poor DRM. The whole computer industry needs to get over piracy. The sun comes up birds sing hackers hack and pirates pirate and customers will pay good money for good games because they are good people. Thats just the way things are and the whole gaming industry needs to grow up and treat its paying customers with respect. Rant over.

I purchased Splinter Cell: Double Agent from Steam and there were loads of issues with it. I emailed their tech support and got absolutely no help nor refund.

relevance? it's a known fact that double agent has lots of issues (for which the blame lies with ubisoft)
