Tomb Raider is an Action-Adventure game that introduces players to the origin of one of the most identifiable video games icons of all-time, Lara Croft. The game features a blend of survival, stealth, melee and ranged combat, and exploration gameplay as a young Lara Croft is forced to push herself past her know limits to survive and unravel the dark history of a forgotten island. In the process she will unlock the adventurer within her. Additional game features include: weapons both familiar and new, upgradable items, a variety of play environments, and human and animal enemies. Experience the origins of Lara Croft's adventurer's spirit in a reboot of the Tomb Raider franchise.

When the first ever Tomb Raider game launched in 1996 it was a revolution. Outstanding in terms of graphics, gameplay, and storyline, it changed the way that video games were played and developed forever. Fronting the games assault on the world was the central character, Lara Croft. Lara was also to have an incredible impact, quickly becoming the most recognized and celebrated female action heroine and an icon for the video games industry.

This newest rendition of Tomb Raider explores the intense and gritty origin story of Lara Croft and her ascent from a frightened young woman to the hardened survivor that she would become known as. Armed only with raw instincts and the ability to push beyond the limits of human endurance, Lara must fight to unravel the dark history of a forgotten island to escape its relentless hold.

Game Features:
Tomb Raider Rebooted - The new version of Tomb Raider is designed to reboot the game series for both the new generation of gamers, as well as longtime fans
The Origins of Lara Croft - Set before even the earliest of classic games in the series, Tomb Raider serves as an origin story for Lara Croft, detailing her metamorphosis from an unsure young woman, to a superstar adventurer
Steam Activated - Register via Steam to get the most out of your online gameplay and enjoy interactive fun with your friends.
Diverse Gameplay - The game incorporates a variety of gameplay genres, including survival, stealth, melee and ranged combat, exploration, and more
Weapons - Utilize a variety of weapons, including bow and arrow, an ice ax, and pistol

Survival Edition includes:
Digital 32-page mini art book compiled by TOMB RAIDER’S Art Director Brian Horton
10 downloadable tracks from TOMB RAIDER’s atmospheric soundtrack
Digital double sided map of the game’s mysterious island setting and the iconic cover image
Digital comic - Tomb Raider: The Beginning
"Guerilla Skin" in-game outfit
Three in-game weapons from "Hitman: Absolution" for use in "Tomb Raider": The Silverballer, Agency SPS 12, and HX AP-15

Probably screams of joy for the fact they didn't list it at a penny ;)

This is a great price for this. Tempted to buy it just to have a spare copy.

Heat from me bud, and please swing by the Christmas Edition weekly competition:)

I know exactly what you mean. I had a lot of issues with them in the beginning. I remember waiting two days before I could play Half Life 2 at launch. I also remember the trouble I had trying to recover the account a few years later - they blatantly lied to me.
So yes, Steam used to be a total nightmare. But in all honesty I think they have cleaned up their act now and it's become a must have part of PC gaming.
Even so, because of my earlier problems I only ever buy anything at vastly reduced prices, I consider purchases from Steam as rentals.

Lol this guy a troll?

In fact all 3 are fine these days, only pirates hate them since they dont allow them to play online and stuff ;)

Only one i dont have installed on my PC is Origin. Uplay is actually pretty good but the way you download games is still dumb compared to steam.

Steam customer service is pretty none existent though, Origin is on the ball if you need anything yet i dont play any origin games as of late.

Never had to complain about Uplay :)

'So yes, Steam used to be a total nightmare.'

I've used it on half a dozen PCs, a Mac, tablets etc since the beta days. Never had a serious problem on any of them. It's the most successful digital software distribution system ever developed.

Not exactly a nightmare. For you, perhaps, but that's because you're incredibly unlucky, or just.....different.

Just don't expect any support or customer service from them if anything goes wrong. They serve 6 million users a day but can't be bothered to have a proper support system in place.

There's really no need to be rude about it :(
