Just FYI, the CoH:Gold Edition (Contains the original and Opposing Fronts) can be bought for £3.74, add £2.49 to that for Tales of Valor makes a total cost of all 3 at £6.23.

Thanks for that Cuddy & Stop It!

If you want a hard copy and/or don't like the idea of Steam, next cheapest places to get all 3 as the "Company of Heroes Anthology" are:

TheHut @ £9.73

If you like RTS games, and that may well be enough, but better yet, if you like some WW2 action, then these games are for you. You'll need a half decent gfx card and setup, but these are absolute must have games in terms of PC RTS.

In addition to the 3 games, there are many community maps and mods now available. The game is a gem and is one that belongs on your drives.

Company of Heroes: Tales of Valor = terrible game
not even remotely fun......terrible controls designed by a cretin......if you want to see how a proper rts is done try some of the command and conquer series

The controls are fine, the game itself however isn't as good as the previous two but still worth a play if you enjoyed COH and COHOF.

Great Price, Rep and Heat Added. :)

amazing price for these, have loved playing the whole series, ( albeit tales of valor, but a few more maps and change of units made it worthwhile).

Online play is great, although I have not been able to connect to any games for the last 6 months or so :(

I loved COH, but never played OF or TOV.

What makes TOV so bad?

Great deal - I have something to do this weekend now!
#10
thanks heaps, good find :)
#11
Nice one - will be going for this one later today :)
#12
Great price - I recently paid £6-odd just for the first 2 games!

Just a heads up too - if anyone is thinking of getting a hard copy of these games instead of Steam'ing it - DONT!! The patches are an absolute nightmare to install and Steam does it all for you with auto patching!
A mate of mine bought these games twice in hard copy form and had nothing but problems - switched to Steam and voila - not problems at all!!

Great games, especially for this price.

Ordered the first 2, and heat added. Thanks

Good thing with Steam is that they are patched already, I bought the 1st two games as disks a while back and it took ages to patch them, since then I have re-installed my PC and never installed the games, but bought Tales of Valour over Xmas on steam and was able to put in my keys with the first 2 games so now can play them all with -out disks and no need to patch them.
I only have a ATI HD 2600XT card, not very powerfull and can play theses games no probs.

This is seriously a great deal I have been waiting for these to come down in price, but didn't expect anything as low as this!

Anyone that likes RTS needs these games. I can't wait to get back into this and play the other ones I haven't played.

As Simong_1984 said I have my weekend sorted now :-D

The thing that bothers me about these games is the lack of where you start, I got tales of valor first you see *steam xmas deal*, and every time I click on campaign it tries to start me off on that mission, I have just bought the first one now, so I am assuming the first mission is market garden ? Also is there only like 2 missions per campaign or am I doing something wrong ?

Rather confusing.

I've only recently bought it. It doesn't look like it actually contains much in single-player mode, only a few new levels in campaign mode.
I finished it in no time and as I don't play this online didn't get a lot out of it. Still, only paid £2.49 so can't complain.

Be aware you may have trouble if, like me you bought a boxed copy of Company Of Heroes and you are adding Opposing Forces on steam.

I have a fully patched copy of COH and i downloaded OF earlier today. The prog installed and i can see it in steam, however when I run it from steam I cannot access my relic online account and therefore cannot play online. If i run the original COH from the shortcut on my desktop I can access my online account, the OF skirmish missions but not the OF campaigns.

Nice on OP, I own the original box version, but had to buy all three at this price. Just hope wife leaves me alone to play it.

Ive sorted the problem out now. If anyone else has this problem, the COH .exe file is located in the steam apps directory. If you use the Comodo firewall, you will need to make that exe file a trusted app.

Good deal but it's a bit strange that the most expensive way of buying these is to buy the complete collection. Even buying the 3 games seperately works out a tiny bit cheaper.
#23
Thanks! Just ordered the first two :D
#24
Thanks for the heads-up. I missed out on the discounted ToV a while back due to Steam account problems, but now they're sorted and it's downloading as we speak!

Nice collection. Order thanks.
