Not a collector myself but some of these are cheap as chips and many of them are very smart looking

Vanishing Point
Speed
The Thin Red Line
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
The Omen
Alien Resurrection
Alien 3
Die Hard 4

you get the idea...

Heat for Vanishing Point for a fiver!

I'm not a steelbook collector either, but some of these are cheaper than their normal amaray releases, so heat on that basis. Might grab Speed and The Omen! Never seen Butch Cassidy but heard nothing but great things.

I can't even remember if I bought Butch Cassidy back when it was released on blu - I had always shied away from the DVD due to the mono sound mix - but at that price, I had to bite :) thanks OP

Butch Cassidy is one of the better films on the list. Not sure about the transfer though, hence why I've still not bought it. Don't want the steelbook edition of it though so will eventually get the amaray version instead.

Vanishing Point isn't available in a regular amaray edition yet, so that's the obvious title to go for. Unfortunately I got one recently from Zavvi and it had a big chip in the front so I had to return it!

The inception of steel books is silly... Encourages hoarding.

Butch & Sundance now up to £6:99 unfortunately. The Poseidon Adventure well worth it at £4:99 though.

Don't buy steelbooks to make money, you most likely won't. I have done and made quite a bit in terms of % profit, however it's not going to make you rich, I'd buy steelbooks now as many are cheaper than the non steelbook.

Without being too sexist, it's not possible considering what I'm about to say, Gilda Texter is the reason to watch The Vanishing Point, apart from it being a cool road movie. If you like hot naked blondes riding on motorbikes then watch it. Google Images > Gilda Texter

I doubt this link is allowed but what the heck you only live once :p >

I would have thought on my feet and added some ketchup to that chip, could have been a great day.

Some have been bumped up in price to around £6.99, but there are few left
