The keyset is optional. If you're not buying it for use with the other keysets grab something like a Microsoft Sidewinder X4.

On a slightly related note I got the WoW Steelseries Legendary Mouse from Overclockers a while back, cost me about £26 in total. It's really good especially for the price. The software works well, buttons are all easy to reach.

Pros:
If you're a die-hard fan of the series you can have a fancy looking keyboard.
You can swap the keys out for other sets (If this really is a keyboard you like).
USB and headphone ports can be handy for some.
Cons:
They keys don't feel as 'planted' as a regular keyboard. As the keys themselves aren't clipped to their individual dome.
Your spacebar now has a gap in the middle.
No function to lock the windows key when gaming.
The placement of the 'WoW keys' means that you'll either have to take a hand off the mouse or move away from your 'WASD' to use them, rendering them useless in any action situation.
A lot of people fall into the trap of 'It's branded as a gaming X, therefore it'll give me an advantage!' You will do just as well on a similarly priced 'regular' keyboard and probably have a more comfortable time as well. Remember, you still need something to type with!

I don't think that's the case at all, a close up of the circular keys at the right side shows they are basic functions like Trade, buttons to switch between chat. By the sounds of it you can "replace" certain keys with macro's using the software, the latest patch isn't going to break this board. At worst it'll mean people need to switch a few macro's to remove any ability that Blizz took off their class spec.
