Stumbled on these in the York Asda this morning. It's a 'Rollback' deal, so not sure how long will last. Got 3 boxes in preparation for my birthday this weekend!

The deal's real, but I'm not messing about loading up receipts just to prove it.

Good luck

Anyone else get it for this price? As previous post say's it's £15.78 online @ Asda and mysupermarket.co.uk.

I'm betting it's not the real Stella though, it's the brewed-in-UK ersatz hogwash.

It just goes to show that in 21st century Britain the name is more important than the product. Sad that.
#3
More importantly, if it is at this price. It's 71p per pint (568ml).
#4
No sign of this offer in my local Asda, also if it was on rollback would it not be nationwide and available online?
#5
I wish we had an Asda nearby, all these offers are very tempting
#6
Was available at ASDA Grantham yesterday. (27th)
#7
dont see this online
#8
Not in my local Asda (Reading - Tilehurst) on 27th, we had the 15 small bottles (284 ml?) for £10 and also down as rollback offer.
#9
Only 15 for £10 in Preston store
#10
Not available at my local store

Thought asda said they weren't doing cheap booze anymore? Still who cares, a tenner a box...bargain. Agree with spionkop on the quality issue though, the import Stella is so much better
Probably something to do with the continental folk sipping and savouring the flavour an us brits smashing ten pints of it down topped off with a kebab.

Nice, this will fuel me up for when i next beat the wife.

Theres always one, wondered how long it would take.
Now all you need to do is find someones wife....
#14
can't beat this wife beater stuff....

It is brewed in the UK - I didn't realise there was a difference, but after one or two I don't really care! Ha.

The Asda receipt isn't very helpful as it doesn't describe the item, it just says 'Stella'. The code on the receipt is 501001708349, if that helps?

I only dropped in to try and get some of that cheap Champagne they were meant to be doing, but there was nothing on the shelf. :(

I'm pretty sure geographic location has no bearing on the final product, unless the method of brewing itself is different, or the ingredients are different.
#17
RIGHT...how this post as got to 308 heat I do not know!
Asda Bideford, when I went are not doing this deal, and when I asked staff they said from what they know NO SUCH DEAL is on!!
So.................?

Although I've used this site for years, I don't know how the scoring thing works! Maybe some people are getting the deal, but not letting on?

It could be that the deal's unique to York, but I can't see why that would happen with a multi-national? (Edit: Not the case as available in Grantham - a deal for northerners only??? :p).

It might be a mistake, but the shelf edge ticket had the proper description and price per litre printed on it, so it seems genuine.

Hope someone else benefits from the deal.

I have had Stella from the stella brewery (or one of them) in Belgium and can say that the stuff they brew over here is terrible by comparison.

However I just popped into my local in Newport Gwent and they were not on offer. They do however have 10 x 300ml bottles of kronenbourg for £5 which was a result as i prefer it any day over stella

£1.26 / litre is as cheap as this stuff gets. Agree with the sentiment, proper Stella far superior ( as is Southern Comfort ) . We are just mugs buying it 'brewed under license'.
#25
Why has this got so hot?

Not one person since the deal was posted has found it in their local store.

The comments from the original post makes me think some employees of asda at manager level are telling porkies on here and are trying to boost the amount of customers through the doors.

I've not seen any for a long time, where in the UK can you buy Belguim brewed Stella?

Has anyone bought some, if so, where did you get it?
