In work today again, and found that we are going to have another decent deal on the Stella Cans. Not quite as good as the Carlsberg Export, but for £5 can't complain. Availble instore from Friday 31st October to Sunday 2nd November and should be available online.

Enjoy ;o)

PS I know the picture is of a 10 pack but its the closest one I could find

I have none in my fridge to check if 5% or 5.2%. So Whatever it is 4% is just not proper stella and if you want to go further its not proper stuff if its brewed over here. The belgian cans/bottles are much tastier.
#20
Good price, but good luck to anyone drinking it, nasty tasting stuff.

Got 6 pallets of this in the store i work at in preparation for the offer, and i work on the beer aisle so i can get all the deals and save em for myself, sweet. Its also been discontinued too so i wouldnt expect to see it again anytime after the offer.
#24
This tastes friggin 'orrible!

I too thought it was a bargain when I bought 4 cans for £3.
But it is absolute bum juice in my opinion...

You've been warned.

Never tried this, but if it's anyhting liek the real thing, than this will be hotter than the Carlsberg deal, might get a crate or 2 to try.

Know how few friends that need to move on to the 4% stuff, might mean they can last the distance on the all dayer!!

I did post a deal about 2 1L Spirtis for £20 from Smirnoff / Bells / Bailey's but was wrongly taken off as apparently a duplicate deal when actually it wasnt
#28
Think this will be like Carlsberg deal or do you think they've learned their lesson? Probably not haha I can't complain - I managed to get 4 in total and will try again with this. Heat added x

The cheatin' cheeky gits.

I wondered why it was taking an extra couple of bottles to induce that feeling of well-being.

Don't listen to him, it's still 5.2 - you're not being cheated!
#32
No, it is definately 5%. Got some in front of me now - although it's not open! Yet!!

They're making it weaker to keep the costs down. Did something the same with Boddingtons years ago, which used to be stronger but is now quite weak.

They are doing it like that so that can rebrand the cans, changing the can artwork and selling it as something else, possible shop branded etc. Same vat, same liquid, different can artwork different price. It's generic lager.

But the great british public are suckers for marketing and will drink this thinking it's 'premium' like it says on the can. Absolute rubbish.

Still, good price if you are not fussy.

Incorrect. There is still some Stella @ 5.2% on the shelves, but all Stella being produced for the UK market will now be 5%. The draught Stella was only 5.1% but that is also being brought down to 5%.

This beer looks like the Stella 4 - which is 4% and is relatively new. I don't think it tastes too bad for a 4% lager, but certainly not as good as the 5.2% stuff!!
#35
Will be getting some of these on Friday will be good for when Family visits at christmas. Also not sure if posted but I also picked up 2 boxes (20 cans in total) of Fosters for £5 a box and 2 boxes (14 cans in total) of Strongbow for £4 a box BARGAIN.

These where in Somerfields by the way.
#36

I reckon this is correct.

I was just in Tesco there, and there are a number of Stella cans and bottle at 5.2%, but others a 5%.

I really don't think that decreasing it's alcohol content by 0.2% represents any saving to the brewer, and will have a negligible effect on the consumer.
#40
Damn I didn't read it properly. Went into store today and was gutted to find none there.

However I did manage to pick up 16 bottles of San Miguel for £6 - they had mispriced it at 2 packs of 4x 330ml for £3 :D (or £3.48 each!)
