Ha ha, same here. I watched this when I was about that age and it gave me a fear of clowns for life. Seriously, I will not have anything to do with clowns in the house and I have never watched this film ever again, lol When he is shouting to the little boy from down in the drain..... argggggghhhhhhh :oops:

First half absolutely great. Second half beyond dire.

I like to pretend the second half doesn't even exist :)

eeexxxxtreeemely dated. worth a couple of quid though maybe if you've not seen it. if you've seen it years ago and want to watch it again you'll be disappointed ;/

amazon are regularly 1p cheaper than hmv/zavvi/play, but the quidco will always make them cheaper than amazon

i'm not spoiling it by saying the ending was utter balls, am i? i love the book too... but this film has *something* about it which will occupy part of your mind for years after.

maybe cos i watched it when i was 7 :|
