The Master of Horror unleashes everything you were ever afraid of....

A series of murders prompts Mike Hanlon to suspect that the supernatural menace that he and a group of friends battled as children has returned. He begins to call his friends to remind them of the oath they swore: if It returned again, they would come back to Derry to do battle again...

Due to it's length, this film has been spread across both sides of the disc
Audio commentary from Dennis Christopher, Tim Reid, John Ritter, Richard Thomas and director Tommy Lee Wallace

This was the best movie I saw as a kid.... loved it to bits :)

Shock horror I guess... kinda looks funny when I watch it now... and yes that clown.....

Guess its a good price if you want this film....
But i'm a massive fan of Stephen King and this 'made for TV' movie is dire.... and i mean truly truly dire.

Jon-boy Walton used to make me laugh in this

I'm sorta scared to mention that I like this film.... apart from the ending of course... which is **** in the book also.

Nowt wrong with liking 2/3s of a movie. Let's face it, it's Tim Curry as the clown that steals the show. Still runs shivers down my spine. They all float down here........................

I disagree with the last person, the neding in the book is good. IT is the best book by King in my opinion, and well worth being read, especially if you have seen the movie.

It is a shame the ending of the movie was so poor, the first half particularly was excellent.

I really would like a good director to remake this move, and stay very close to the book.

Personally I think the only King books that filmakers have done justice to is The Green Mile and Delores Claibourn.

Misery??:?

I thought Misery was a good movie... mainly down to the brilliant actress Kathy Bates.... but the film strayed from the book in many points of the storyline.
But as an avid King reader maybe i'm being a bit too fussy.

And The Shining is a great film.

As with ANY book though...once you've read it....to then watch it as a film almost always leaves one feeling a bit underwhelmed

Ah yes..... how could i have forgot The Shining.
I think the rule of thumb for Stephen King movies, is that if they were 'made for TV' movies then they are always pants.
