Alot of DVD for your money, but rather a mixed bag in terms of quality (and I say this despite being a Coogan fan).

Couldn't agree more.

I think Steve Coogan is great. I thought Alan Partridge was great, as was his stand-up work, and some of Knowing Me Knowing You was also funny, but the later stuff was disappointing. Saxondale especially.

If this is still the same batch I originally got, I'd be careful when ordering. Mainly as all the disks are labelled incorrectly!

I quite enjoyed Saxondale actually, though being a middle-aged alcoholic it was my kind of humour :p
If anyone wants to watch it for free it's available here:

Worth it for the Alan Partrdge and Saxondale, but I agree the other stuff is a bit hit and miss.

Pity the retailer is Tesco, as I don't like them having my money. I've just been reading about Norfolk. I feel really sorry for Sheringham if it does have a Tesco open in the middle of this lovely little town. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/tesco-dirty-tricks-and-the-battle-over-a-new-store-in-rural-norfolk-2023130.html

This is a brilliant box set. Bought it from HMV for £40 about 8 months ago and consider it a bargain at that price. Hot hot hot!
#13
Just realised, it says the complete Coogan, but it's missing his live DVDs.
#14
The Alibi is missing. I liked that film a lot.

"So he thinks I've come this far right, so he flips him over, grabs hold of the hold meat and two veg and ffff.........ffffunily enough it lands on its wheels, starts first time and they just drive off"

Has anyone else had theirs dispatched? My order seems to have a continually advancing estimated dispatch date! :-(

Hi cowbutt,
I have the exact same problem, every day I log in to Tesco entertainment to see if my dvd's have been dispatched only to find that they have pushed back the estimated delivery date yet again!
I ordered mine on 11th of July and still waiting!
I emailed them at the weekend and they replied today saying that they were having supply difficulties and it would probably be another two weeks before delivery!
Tesco entertainment offered to cancel my order if I wanted, but cant find the box set at the price quoted when I ordered, anywhere else! They have credited my "ewallet" with £5 as a goodwill gesture, so it is worthwhile dropping them an email;)

I have the exact same problem

Thanks, Derann!

Has ANYONE who ordered this boxset from Tesco Entertainment actually received it?
They are still advertising it but at a dearer price and quoting 4 to 5 days for delivery, yet I have been waiting since 11th July for mine and date for delivery has been pushed back another week AGAIN!!
#22
Mine got dispatched on Friday... and arrived today, 6 August. Hope yours did too, Derann.
