I like EVGA but I don't like that price though.

None of these cards have been going for sensible prices. It's wait till monday or jump for a 1070

You mean cyber monday? Are there any major deals expected on graphics cards? So far a combination of weak pound and (still) limited supply seems to have kept prices up for longer than normal, even black friday didn't reveal any real graphics cards bargains I'm aware of....

sharedknowledges deal is fine but really no better than ebay prices for that past few months. I wonder how many of these are actually being sold? Currency fluctuations can't be helping

Guys what monitors are you using? A 1080 is super overkill for 1080p. The 1070 is on par with the 980ti in terms of fps roughly.

this is the cheapest gtx 1080 you can get why it is cold ... I mean I would spend a bit more for a custom fan version but this is good for small case and for the prize hopefully there be something better after midnight , I need to change from gtx 1070 on 3440 x 1440 resolution is just not enough

This generation of cards has so far missed the mark for 4k gaming. You need consistent 45-60fps on the very latest games given the new gsync and related techs and these cards cannot provide, particularly with the blower setup in the deal. The 1080ti will likely solve this with 3-4 months and drop the price of the rest of the linup too

"The bad news is the GTX 1080 Ti is not going to be a particularly affordable graphics card for most of us. It's going to sit somewhere in between the GTX 1080 and Titan X both in terms of performance and in pricing, and that means a price tag of somewhere between $630 (£565) and $1,200 (£1,099)." so this means the only prize drop we can expect is if AMD come out with something good at last , with no competition they just do what they want with those prizes and we still buying it .......

Not a bad price at all, cheapest 1080 available at this present time and no sign of any Cyber Monday deals toppling that.
