£7.99 for a Disney dvd is bad? I've done a quick check and the cheapest I've found are £9+ (eg, Mary Poppins is £9.89 here)

If you can get blue rays for £12 then please share the link...

i get blue ray's for £12 bog off

Where??

Also it's not £16 a dvd it two for under less than that, and it's true that you have to pay delivery at Tesco or collect online.

I am not saying it a brill deal, I am just fed up of people being
1, rude to people who submit new deals
2, Vote them cold befor people get a look in.

At least you commented, others voted cold without any comment, all I am saying people go to the trouble of sharing so at least give them the time of day!

If this is the chapest for disney and people are looking to buy disney dvd's, then how is this deal cold! :?
#12
So are we sharing the blue rays for £12 or what then :whistling:
#13
i voted cold, because this deal has been posted about 7 times at least already.

amazon sell cheaper than this also.

amazon.com sell blu ray films bogof ( only selected ones though and it works out at £17 with delivery)
#14
This deal is everywhere and has been posted many times. It's not a bargain when everywhere has the same price.

There's also the small matter of Disney releasing lots of their movies together in 2 DVD box sets, selling for £12-13 each - I have them all on my Find-DVD watchlist.

Voting cold...

Thanks starr, have repped you :)

I agree that there's no need for people to be rude. No one gets paid for submitting deals, they do it out of kindness and wanting to help others out! :)

I don't know how people can say they've voted cold because it's the same deal as other places have... So surely they've voted cold on every similar offer submitted? Unfair... But I don't really care now to be honest :giggle:

Thanks again starr

I'm not trying to take anything away from the blu-ray deal but be careful when buying dvd's from America as they're usually region locked and you can get hit by customs...

Bless..........no problem, manners cost nothing!
I hate voting thinks cold with no comment, I always find good buys/deals in the unrated deals.
If people want to vote cold then fine, but at least check it first.
People give their time to post deals! :-D

Using a smiley on a keyboard is rather pointless when people are rarely smiling irl when using them. But, if you require me to use one to make you feel more comfortable... :)

Effort without thought is worthless. People have put far more effort into posting more original deals than this, yet people still rather brainlessly enter a vote hot for the 'huge' effort put into this by the obviously quite popular TC. A deal voting system isn't meant to be used as a popularity contest.

Spending 7.50 on 1 DVD these days is rather crazy. I know Disney movies are collectable since they go in and out of the vault, but only the elite Disney movies are the ones you need to snap up - The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin.

The newly released Disney sets seem to include the 2 movies in separate cases, inside a nice looking cardboard box. They are cheaper and better value for money. The current BOGOF deals seem to be simply a mask for mass stock clearance.

...I'll sum this up:

- These Disney BOGOF threads have been made tons of times before. It's pure stupidity if someone searched, saw all the other BOGOF threads and still posted this anyway.
- Even if this hadn't been posted tons of times before, the fact that there are Disney box sets for (afaik) every Disney movie included in these BOGOF deals (selling for £12-13 each) proves this isn't "hot" in any way, shape or form.

These BOGOF Disney deals are quite good if you are looking to expand your Disney DVD collection, or maybe trying to replace videos you own with DVDs instead. However, what gets me is that when they don't have the BOGOf offer these DVDs don't cost £15.99, they can usually be had for just over or just under a tenner. So why do they put the prices up and then tell us we're getting a bargain? :?
