£4 for a Sauvignon Blanc New Zealand Marlborough is a bargain in anyones book.
Apologies - no photo of the bottle but I guess you've all got the wits about you to look around the aisle ends.

Beware. Not all NZ Marlborough SB is good. Asda have been fobbing off some underwhelming wine for a while now that looks great on the label but is nothing more than an ordinary plonk.

Anything that's estate bottled and not shipped over in a tanker and bottled over here, should be worth having... I am suspecting it is the latter in this case.

Not voted btw.

This however is lovely. Tastes just like a Sancerre at three times the price. I had a bottle last night.

As I posted previously they have had a number of decent wines at very good clearance prices

Bought some lovely Rioja Reserva at same price as this last week and had a bottle of Ozzie Chardonnay yesterday which was £3 and very drinkable. Sadly had sold out when popped back so do pick these up when you see them

NZ SB can as others have said be a bit hit and miss but have found Coop tend to sell reasonable wines in general, unlike some of the cheap Tesco SB for instance which is average at best

I picked up some chablis last week for £4 a bottle. Had one at the weekend was great. Went back and got another 6 bottles. Co-op Kimberworth Park Rotherham if anyone near.

Not in our Co-op they haven't, just been to two in a completely wasted trip

Mainly crap left in my local stores now, wish I had bought a load more.
