Thanks! Just been, nothing marked on the shelves at these prices, BUT got a someone to check the prices for me and picked up a few storage boxes for £1 each - fantastic savings made. Thank you so much for this! Heat and rep.
#10
just been and got some storage boxes - £19 for £2 so well chuffed.

as above - no reduced prices on shelves so you need to do your homework on line and then go in and check the barcodes to see if there are any bargains locally.

Same locally to me, all marked full price.
I tried earlier to print a shopping list off the website, but had to give up as the site is so slow, and keeps giving error messages. :x
Anyone else have comments on their website?

I still managed to get a kitchen trolley, a couple shelves and storage boxes for only £2 each.
I also picked up 2 tins of Craig and Rose paint £18 per 2.5l tin, reduced to only £2.50 a tin!
#12
Goodness....the site really is painfully slow....
#13
isnt this in many local discount stores?
#14
Thanks, voted hot. Good one this
#15
Great deal - voted hot - some of the bargains marked on the shelves, but others not shown, so a couple of trips to the till to check the prices and then bought 3 sets of storage boxes for £6 (instead of £60). Now I just need to find some more bargains to fill them with.....
#16
I had to return home to print out what I wanted because they were arguing with me re : prices/reducations. Got what I wanted in the end though.

Went to my local and printed off close to 20 pages of stuff, tested 6 items first and all was £2 each went back and got loads more. The 3 tier plastic black storage items were £10 down to £2 grabbed 8 of them, a few metal boxes and loads more. Spent £55 but saved over £500 but would i have bought most of this stuff at full price i dont think .

But many thanks op

Is it just me or is their website soooooooooooo slow!
#22
Been lurking on here for ages now, but had to say a BIG thanks to OP for this one, my local B&Q didn't have a clue what I was on about, but the bloke went and got a scanner and scanned everyhting to see what was cheaper, managed to get loads of the rolling storgae boxes. So pleased, Thanks again! Oh yeah voted hot of course!

Yes. Extremely slow!

Read this and shot up to my local B&Q in Shrewsbury as I am after some storage boxes. They had quite a few left, but still labelled as full price. Took a range of them up to the till to have them price checked. They were still showing on the till as £7.98 etc, not £2.

Showed the old duffer the printout from B&Qs own site showing them as £2 and he said that it must be select stores only and that these should definitely be full price. Thought about arguing, but his mind seemed to be on other things (warm cocoa, comfortable slippers) so I left empty handed.

Might try the B&Q over in Telford at the weekend.
#25
Thanks for this, went to the B&Q in Coatbridge and they were showing full price on the shelf but the reduced price at the till.
#26
Thanks, i went to B&Q Coatbridge, and same as jayok, were full price, but reduced price at the tills.
Then i went to EK and they were marked on the shelves at the reduced price.
Got a few things for my new house!
#27
Same here at Aberdeen store..many items showing at full price but going thru' at £2 much to surprise of staff..would never have known otherwise..thank you so much for post
#28
Got some lovely childrens storage boxes clear with pink lid and wheels priced £8 odd went through the til at £2
#29
I got some bargains at my local store - £68 worth for £15 - same as others though still full price on the shelves but discounted when scanned at tills. I went onto the link and checked what stock was at my local store then printed off the pages i needed - easier than printing off loads of pages

Thank u

Are there only the storage boxes that are on offer, was wondering if can get more bargains?
#32
Great bargains, was going to buy these boxes on Saturday, went into B&Q and decided that spending £70 ish was too much so walked out without getting any. Then yesterday, having seen this post, went to the Farnborough B&Q armed with a print out of the discounted items and bought them for about 1/4 of their marked price. Thanks to OP.

Went to Hedge-End store and they have a pallet load of Shed Tidy shelving (not shown on website) You get a 3 tier shelving unit and an addition unit for storing spades, forks, rakes, etc. It's hardend plastic design with a price showing as £9.98 - But scans at £2.

They still have plenty of cheap shelving left as well.

They're also clearing the gardening stuff, a couple of pallets at the back of the store not yet marked down.

We grabbed a manager to ask if he could reduce the display model of a clay chimnea which was price marked at £60 something. It was him who led us to the pallets where there was 2 boxed ones left and said we could have one for £20.

Being cheeky, we said for £10 we'll take it - he went off, came back with a trolley, put the chimnea on it and marked at £10 for us!

Bargain or what.

Loads of items left, but best to grab a manager who has the authority to reduce to silly prices.

I do need shelves for the new shed. I was going to get some from Ikea, but I'll have a look/word when I go into B&Q to pick up the shed (had to order it).

Further bargains found at Hedge-End store today - Shoe Boxes at £1, and at the back of the store they have a pallet of large flexi-tubs, available in green, yellow, pink, and blue. The sel states £4.98, I saw them on the website at £2, but they scan at £1.

Fantastic 'aint it?
We picked some more up at the weekend to use when putting away the Christmas Decs this year.
Can't believe some store still have the products displayed at the original price!
