Very good stove / hob cleaner, bought it for £2+ from tesco.

its depressing to be commenting on stuff like this but this stuff is a god send for ceramic hobs, if its the one Im thinking of (bottle is the same although I think perhaps it used to have a slightly different name!)

This stuff is brilliant! Especially on pans too! Also use the Oven Pride cleaning bags and they're really good too. Great price, thanks

If this stuff is the same as "hob bright"....as the poster above mentioned saved my ceramic hob from doom....amazing stuff....well...this looks like a cheap rip off of "hob bright"...still it works the same way....

Oven pride is super. Hope the Leeds store has some as some dirty cow left this place a mess when we moved in in July.

No I know who used to live here as she was present when we did the viewing, And I am not being sexist 'cos I'm female.

She just left it in a state an from what I heard, didn't get any of her deposit taken off her for cleaning.

Pah!!

Maybe her other half was scruffy too, mine has had to improve on tidying up etc since we met because i'm a clean freak lol

Aha, pretty sure she lived alone but okay I'll let you have your defensive moment.

The letting agents refused to clean the oven and hob as well. Claiming it wouldn't bring any beneficial results. So I got my mum in, as she is also a letting agent and a clean freak.

Soon had it shining. This product would do for the hob maintenance though.

I'm making a point that men are capable of making a mess too and not cleaning up either,i hate cooking so my hob only gets used when my OH is here as i live alone,he's the one who messes it up.

Anyway, this is slightly O/T now so i'll not carry on.

You don't need to make that point. The other poster was mentioning it in passing, we're all well aware that anyone is capable of making a mess and the general stereotype is that blokes are messy buggers especially ones who live on their own so if anything how about making a point for them!!?? eh eh!!?...well?

:p

...it doesn't let me edit my post. I'll bet you it's because I'm male!

Can anyone confirm if this is as good as Hob Brite, as I have been using it for over 10 years and haven't found anything that works as well. Anyone tried both?

I'm surprised they are getting away with making the bottle almost identical to Hob Brite!!
