They Spanish ones then?

Imported ones are almost always rubbish. Won't buy strawbs unless they are British, ideally Scottish.

What are the origin of these strawberries? I won't touch them unless they're British because personally I find British Strawberries the tastiest!

I'll 2nd that Scottish Strawberries are the best, the growers take good care of them & the taste is sublime 8)

If you want to eat real strawberry's you need to grow your own these days. I'm fed up paying for over priced, forced fruit and veg from supermarkets that usually tastes awful.

The strawberries at our Asda looked nothing like the picture - very dark and past their best.

227g is about 9 strawberries.. £1.75 for 500g of frozen mixed summer fruit is better value me thinks

Yeh I saw this pack yesterday and thought it was a cheap price... but they have clearly reduced the quantity from a normal pack to make it seem like a better deal than it is.

Been this price for months...

They had loads in our store but will never buy them they are dark and obviously not fresh at all.

400g packs are 2 for £3 - better value IMHO

Doesn't seem cheap at £2 a pound (or 454g).

Lambs £4.50 a kilo (2.2 pounds) at tesco, about the same price as this. Obviously not the same food stuffs, but makes you think.

Morrisons had some nice Strawberries - not cheap though
