If digital is more your cup of tea, it's available for £15.99 on PSN now with the 2016 character pass being an additional £7.99.

Excellent game, played daily......remember we have 5 free additional new characters this year plus new stages.

good find op, heat added

Thanks. :)

Been watching this for a few weeks at base and mymenory as the price has been up and down. Bit like the reviews.

Coming from a SF2 Turbo back ground I hope it's ok as I'm about to reserve as it's in stock near me!

For fans try this film, budget label but I enjoyed it.

DVD

Bluray

Thanks for the link - think I will give the Blu ray a go!

Just out of curiosity, does anyone have any idea if there's been anymore news regarding an 'Arcade' mode being added? I really like the look of the game but am really reluctant to buy without a dedicated single player arcade/classic mode.

Is that the film with the chun li shower scene?

Wow great price. Stock in my local store too.

Heat for the price and since the last two updates and added characters, it's finally a full ish game. Capcom have two huge announcements for the street fighter franchise which will come just before or at E3 to coincide with its 30th anniversary. Guessing this should be brand new news which we haven't heard about. Plus you have street fighter 2 ultra switch and marvel vs capcom infinity war.
Personally I'd like a street fighter 5 (ultra edition with serious amount of new content) and a new street fighter vs guilty gear/ mortal Kombat etc (something new).
#10
Not bad, the gameplay is solid. It's getting better (content wise) but still kind of a mess in a lot of places - especially the online and how steep the grind curve is.

Tesco currently have for £14

I think Tekken X Street Fighter is still happening, isn't it?
#13
I think it's a pretty good game but it's ruined by the ridiculous amount of Fight Money you need to unlock anything decent.. AKA the actual characters.

I've only unlocked one new character and that's grinding through the terrible character story mode.

Yes still in development. Actually that could be on of them.

Also: Cody, Guy and Haggar in SFV please X)

(Though I'm reading that the five new characters in 2017 will be entirely new, hmm)

This is the closest thing so far...

I don't recall seeing that, but I could have forgotten. Mainly ken and ryu in training at the dojo if my memory is correct.

Just thinking they haven't released many street fighters have they? I mean street fighter 2 was released in the 90's and now just over 20 years later we are only on street fighter 5 they really should cash in more

A certain well known Japanese news site leaked that Capcom is remastering Street Fighter 1 for it's 30th anniversary in August. It says it will be arcade and 4K only with PC to follow.

Hoping Sagat will be added. Had a go with Akuma who was recently added, he's not too bad seems to have an sf4 feel to him. Good to see more people join, so more newbies to train on

Is this game still really popular after all this time? I can never seem to find a copy anywhere, it's totally sold out in my region and not available for delivery

Base are doing for 15.99 and mymemory are doing it for 16.99 if you can get it by Argos.

I was like you and really off put with the lack of content. Decided to go with Mortal Kombat XL instead
#26
Good game and better deal plus 2016 season pass for 7.99, but dont blame people for going elsewhere given how they handled the launch and dlc.

MKXL is complete though size-wise SFV is getting there.

4K only...X) Which school of marketing did these particular rumour inventors attend?

I went for Mortal Kombat as well, however ended up selling it as didn't get on with it and I felt wrong (lol). I was always a Street Fighter person not a Mortal Kombat player. Yet to open SFV but I have it now

It's getting better over time, but unfortunately is still lacking something compared to IV.
If digital is more your cup of tea, it's available for £15.99 on PSN now with the 2016 character pass being an additional £7.99.

And why would you want the season pass?

Am I missing something here?

I'd imagine people might want to buy the 2016 character pass for the extra characters? Reasons not to buy it being things along the lines of not wanting any more characters.

Struggling to see your point.

SF5 is getting there now and in honesty from the words 'round one' onwards its a super fun game. the rebalances so far have made (most) sense and the dlc so far has been solid (though a little pricey) Cap did a great job at showing the world how NOT to launch a game but also this is another great entry to a legendary series.
#34
just a heads up its also the same price on amazon

Cheers buddy

Am I the only one who feels both mkxl and sfv are both cack? Already had mk, only just got sfv so maybe I haven't given it a fair shot yet, but so far, it is not blowing my skirt up at all and feel it was a waste of money :(
