Considering the "definitive" version has just come out I don't think this is worth getting, and this is from someone who has played both games to death. Voted cold.

The sequel's still around £20 at the moment, and for a casual gamer looking to revisit/visit street fighter this seems like a really good deal to me, the cheapest it's ever been?

Especially when the sequel is extremely similar to this one, and most hardcore street fighter fans would already have this game if they planned to get it.

Agree, if you are unsure about the game, this is a great price to try it out - don't forget, this version is still a great game!

I'm in the "what's the point?" camp. There's a new version out that makes this all but obsolete.

This game is only gonna get cheaper.

But I guess no one will be playing this online anymore so you'd be better off going for the newer versaion if you want to take the fight to the net.

Personally I don't think the difference between SF4 and SSF4 is all that big. Also, there are still enough people playing this online. The only gripe I have with this is that the Xbox 360 version is not as suitable as the PS3 version because of it's controller, so you may want to invest in a fightpad / arcade stick afterwards.

Voted hot.

Woo! I just sold this version on eBay to somebody for £12.. Nice..

Also sold the Super Street Fighter 4 that I bought at ASDA for £24..

This game's way too hard for me and I don't fancy investing in a fight stick.

Hot deal though!

Seth is nowhere near as brutally unfair in Super Street Fighter IV. I'm actually having much more fun with the new one than the original, can't really pin down why though....it's still more or less the same game but wit some minor additions.

Sorry, but there are huge differences. New battle modes (team battle and endless battle), revamping of characters (sagat is no longer completely OP), there's also the Replay channel which is fantastic, and last but not least, the new characters!

Completely pointless buying this game, for £10 more you could get a much better version of the game.

it would be ok to get if you already know someone that has it and want to play them
(good news on the sagat nerf in the new version though)

Agreed, those are no huge differences. To be honest, I still don't see a reason why this couldn't have been released as downloadable content, other than just making a huge profit out of it (which is a legitimate reason, obviously). I realise that SSF4 has already sold over a million units, increasing the total amount of Street Fighter 4 sales by over 50%, but I find my original SF4 to be as entertaining as when I first bought it and don't really care about spending another 20 pounds for some upgrades. I can buy loads of other games for that kind of money (or even donate it to charity AND getting good games for it, as demonstrated in the Humble Games Bundle).

Also worth mentioning...if you have a save on your PS3 for "Street Fighter IV" when you start playing "Super Street Fighter IV" you gain access to two new stylised colours for your fighters. They look quite cool tbh, not worth the cost on it's own to me, but might be of interest to some.
