Cold from me I'm afraid, £20 more for two figures, a DVD, a strategy guide and 'exclusive content' which will probably be a new outfit for Ryu or something?
#2
cold, Games are overpriced as it is! £20 extra for some 'tat' is a bit much! for £35 it would sell a lot better!

(IMHO these boxsets are a marketting ploy to make better margins)

Depends on the extra content though.. (and I dont expect it will be exlusive for long!)
#3
Might well be the best price but hardly a "hot deal" is it?
#4
i wouldn't imagine there are many hardcore street fighter fans on here.

That's a big assumption to make...

There are a lot of gamers on here me being one of them and I'm certainly looking forward to this game, can't wait in fact but I wouldn't call myself a "Hardcore Street Fighter Fan".

In all fairness it's a poor deal, quite expensive for a collectors edition.

im a hardcore street fighter

but this price is way 2 expensive im looking for a package with 2 joysticks anyone seen one about PM me please

the joysticks are expensive,
yesasia.com do them but are about £150 (Alone)
playasia.com do joysticks too about £85 but on top of that u need to pay for shipping, and then u may get stung by the taxman!! (Alone)

Why cold?? Where can you get the full collector's edition for cheaper? If you're not a huge SF fan, then GTFO, your opinion as to what defines value for money doesn't apply in this thread.

Mad Catz are releasing some joystick and they're most likely going to be cheap.

Whether a price is better then anywhere else doesn't just define whether it's a good deal.

If it was £300 and everywhere else was £400 then you wouldn't say it was hot.

You can get the non collectors edition for £29.99, that's hot, this isn't.

"Hot" is subjective. Hate to repeat myself, but if you're not a hardcore fan, then you'll probably find this cold, so....

How is this "deal" anywhere near hot when you can get the same elsewhere. So its got quidco, most people look for deals without this addition. I voted cold surprisingly

I like to think I'm quite a big SF2 fan (does buying a console just to play the game make me hardcore?) and I dont rate this deal. Its the game I want, not some extra low value tat at an inflated price. If I want SF figures then there are plenty available (my local figure shop even has some reduced because they dont sell!)

Sorry but please dont assume that all hardcaore fans will find this hot! :):)

There in lies a problem, SF2 wasn't half the game that third strike was.

It's cold because you don't get much bang for your buck so to speak. If it was £40 or even £45 it would be hot, guaranteed.

The value of a figurine is subjective. Don't be trying to placing your own arbitrary prices on what defines value. Just because you don't have much money to burn on figurines isn't my problem.

Live and let live, my friend.

But never would have happened if SF2 had not existed! (admitted its a good game though)

(I probably should have said Steet fighter SF fan but as I didn't like SF1)
My faves have been some of the alpha series and Pocket fighters (i'm also a puzzle fighter addict).

Whatever i am though - i dont see this as hot!
