Street Fighter returns in the first completely new installment the series has seen for a fair few Years. Street Fighter IV brings the legendary fighting series back to its roots by taking the beloved fighting moves and techniques of Street Fighter II, and infusing them with Capcom's latest advancements in next generation technology to create a truly extraordinary Street Fighter experience that will re-introduce the world to the time-honored art of virtual martial arts.

Everything that made Street Fighter II a hit in arcades and living rooms across the globe has been brought back in Street Fighter IV. You will be able to play as your favorite classic characters, such as Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li and Guile, along with new characters, including Crimson Viper, Abel, El Fuerte, and Rufus.

The Characters and environments of Street Fighter IV are rendered in stylized 3D, while the game is played in the classic Street Fighter 2D perspective with additional 3D camera flourishes. Six-button controls for the game return, with a host of new special moves and features integrated into the gameplay system. Street Fighter IV brings a brand new fighting game to fans the world over.

The Godfather is ridiculously expensive, most places selling it for around £40.

No game is worth that much IMHO. plus The Godfather is getting very mixed average reviews - I still want it though as Scarface also got mixed reviews and I loved that.

it's also 24.99 from game.co.uk, not sure what quidco the other two offer but Game do 9% (well, 9% before they add the vat on anyway)

you'll find quite often that these three will all do the same offers, or have very similar price drops, etc as Game now own all 3 companies.

The mixed reviews for Godfather 2 are hardly suprising. The simple rule when reviewing sandbox games these days is thus- if it's GTA IV it's absolutely mind blowing and anything else is simply chalked up as 'not quite GTA IV' despite the fact that GTA was really, really, really average.

My advice is don't trust reviews overly much. The only guaranteed review is whether or not you enjoy playing it. Following a games development is the best system for me. If a game grabs your attention and you approach it with the intention of enjoying it then you probably will.

You are wrong, it is a typically solid Hori stick. IGN agrees: http://uk.gear.ign.com/articles/766/766069p1.html
It may not be using the arcade components, but is no worse than the white Madcatz SF4 one.

Only someone still using a d-pad would not recomment a stick.

You don't need the stick but it does help.

Anybody recommend any other arcade sticks? Only thing stopping me buying...
