#4
Yay Streethawk :D

Streethawk is the bomb. Bit pricey tho.
#6
Does it answer the all important question .. 'Why did no-one ever shoot at the rider's body?'
#7
Remember seeing when the blueprints for Streethawk were in Look In magazine

Is this one that don't look any good now, c/w when it first came out?

lol everyone remembers so well a tv show that only lasted 1 series of only 13 episodes.. leave this one in your memories. u will b disappointed :p

The pilot episode was a bit camp; But keep an eye out for Christopher Lloyed and Chakotay from Star Trek Voyager.

But the episode with George Clooney as the hit man sent by the mafia to kill Streek Hawk, who also happened at the same time to be Jesse Machs childhood friend was superb and the best of the series.

I was actually just looking to buy this a few days ago but was £30 everywhere, so this is a hugely appreciated heads up.

Yep. Back in the 80's it was an awesome bike that could do anything with a supercool action hero.

Now it looks like a moped with cardboard attachments riden by a smug, permed *rsehole with a stupid name.

See also Manimal, Automan etc.

I got hold of this a while back, but the set I have includes what is supposed to be an unaired version of the pilot episode. However, when I watched it, the unaired pilot is the one I remember watching.

It's quite distinct because the ending of the unaired pilot has the bike doing the backflip and Chris Lloyd going off a cliff, whereas the aired version has Chris Lloyd crashing through a billboard and getting stuck in soft gravel.

Does anyone else remember the backflip?

"Recruited to a top secret government mission to Riiiide Street Hawwwwwk."

Even now when some daft bell end on a bike razzes past at about 80mph in a 30mph zone I will usually make some tired remark relating to Street Hawk. :p

I used to love this as a kid but it's aged pretty badly.

Watched whole series on VEOH recently so have a look folks - free and just search for it. All episodes there I think still. Then buy of course... :)

I remember as a kid my gran renting this and Airwolf the movie VHS's out from my local library; It was called Street Hawk the movie, it was around 1988 time.

The only thing I could for years remember from it was the two motorcycle jumps; the one that gets him recruited, and the "impossible to do" back flip with the villain driving off a cliff shouting that's impossible, or something.

She also rented out Airwolf the movie (the 18 rated swear fest; which she did not realize at the time) and turned it off when String said "Arkangels worried I wont take the assignment, so you're here to f..k me" while holding down Gabriels arms ontop of her.

Defo remember the backflip, something to to with vertical thrust together with the brakes made the bike do that.
