There i was struggling for a ''Gift'' for the MIL and eBay sent me a lovely email - i clicked and couldn't believe my eyes.

The perfect present was staring right at me and i think i may have to purchase!

Batteries are included also, just a shame that hers never run out

Now i know if i see something in the sky Christmas Eve it'll be her riding around on her broom and not Father Christmas delivering presents (sorry kids)

Can I respectfully offer the suggestion that this is funny for five minutes, but then you're £5 down and there's a long piece of plastic which will promptly go in landfill?

You're telling me the mother in law needs a present? Can't I just give her a kid as a sacrifice?

Haha voted hot. I am a mother in law 3 times over and I'm sure my daughters' in law could club together to get me one of those. Love it. Just what I need.

It's funny because mothers-in-law are traditionally lampooned as hate figures!

Seriously, what the hell is going on with all the nonsense deals these days?

I imagine this is going to be very popular in the Pendle area... :)

Are you the guy that sits down with his kids on Christmas eve & explains using spreadsheets & PowerPoint why the kids aren't getting Christmas presents this year?

I bet the poster of this owns the ebay shop and is finding it incredibly hard to flog the brooms after a bulk buy this Halloween, but that's just me i don't take things at face value i question them, I would also like to see someone with either the guts to give that to their mother in law this Christmas or the stupidity to potentially ruin someones day this Christmas let alone potentially ruining your own by giving such a gift even if it is a joke. :)

I get her this every year but she knows the wrapped shape too much and guesses what it is. Any deals on cauldrons?

Wouldn't you sooner spend the extra and get the nimbus 2000?

Good observation - we all love a joke, but family is precious, even your wife's mother ..
