Can you read the listing please!
hey my girlfriend found this offer online around 12.10am she customised her order and saved it to complete later.

This morning the offer was zapped from there website she called the Dell sales line where they could not confirm the offer was on offer and the offer did not save to my girlfriend account so this will have to work as the evidence she will need to get dell to stick to the promotion.
Can you read the listing please!

i read the listing i know you order by phone and complain but i was just after some more usefull imformation on the deal not useless like yours! voted hot for rza 89 posting it though
i should have this offer cached on my machine at home i will check and if i do i will provide that link to help people with there complaints.
kool, let me know how the complaining goes, i checked again they said it was a software problem,

anyway think about it, it could have been worse, maybe even 200£ everything or 50% off everything, god bless the people who never expects miracles lol

Is the argos asus not a lot better for <£50 more?

Which one?
I have had the same problem with Dell and this ghost 20% promo offer.

Started building a Studio 1555 laptop at 10pm 06/01/ indecisiveness meant that at 12am I was still at it, 12am now being Thursday morning and the end of Dell's xmas/NY deals. The value of the lapop I had built, including 320 gb (7200rpm) hard drive, T6600 duo core, 4gb memory was coming in at around £560 I think, come 12:10 am it dropped to £470! Checked Dell homepage and sure enough, 20% savings were advertised. All building components had dropped dramatically in price as mentioned by rza89.

On top of this, I also found a EPP link to use to get 3% discount at Bargains galore. I had built the computer I wanted for £120 less than what I would have paid before 12am! Went to bed very happy!

As I thought this was their new promo I saved to basket and went to sleep assured that it ould be there the next day. When they say that something is usually too good to be usually is and sure enough logged back in to Dell website to purcahse laptop and call Dell at the same time to see if I could swing for free delivery. When I went through the computer and the specs with the representative on the phone he totalled the contents of my basket as £640, or thereabouts! I explained to him that the 20% discount had not been taken into account, his response was "we do not have a 20% discount and never have". You can imagine mu frustraion and confusion.

Conclusion, he put me through to a manager named Swathi, who attempted to answer the mystery with no real confirmatio of what had happened on their website for 20% offers to appear. She then attempted to console me by offering me a package from theionline deal with like £20 off...what an insult!
skeen, hopefully they do this again next week, ofc keep rallying and fight the machine, yeah they removed that link :(
next week
