Thanks have just ordered.

I like that its a one off payment. No having to remember to cancel direcr debits.

Sounds good, does anyone know if you get the free gifts they often do every few months with this subscription?
Some mags don't which i think is a bit naughty!
#5

Nope, Marie Claire stopped giving subscribers the free gifts that come with mags in stores several months ago. I suppose 12 quid is a good price anyway, but when you've been a subscriber for a couple of years and suddenly stop getting the freebies, it's off-putting. Don't know if I'll renew my subscription when it expires.

excellent, cheaper than getting it via quidco from Magazine Group :whistling:

Great find

Compare the shop price and the subscription price, u'll realise that u r paying for the freebies in a sense. I prefer not getting the freebies then.

how come when you go on www.magazinesdirect.co.uk the price is double than when you go through the op's link ????
#19
Renewed a MC subscription a few months ago at twice the price plus free gift, purely because I wanted the gift. They kept telling me I was on a list for the gift but it never came. In the end they told me that it's subject to the first however many and maybe I hadn't made it. As a subscriber I get the magazine earlier than release and so know I must've been one of the first to renew with the offer and so am not at all impressed with MC!

If anyone uses Tesco clubcard you can get a 12 month subscription of this for £9.50 of clubcard vouchers, this is only for the travel size and you don't get the free gift, but thought it was worth knowing incase you had some vouchers to use up :)
