Two footlongs for a fiver, quality.

I know for a fact many (probably a majority of stores) don't run this offer. Northop and Deeside both don't. There might be one near you that does though.

Spotted at Subway Bangor.

Doesn't matter that much unless you know them as I've said they don't have the offer.

Only place I've seen it is Bangor. Having also mentioned Deeside and Northop I have listed every Subway I have been to in the last few months.

I imagine as they're all different franchises it would be difficult to list specific cities.

Not doing this in the North West and West Yorkshire region thats for sure. 2 footlongs for a fiver have they gone completely mad.

Seems to be certain stores rather than certain regions

The petition noted that Subway doesn't use the ingredient in its breads in Europe, Australia or other parts of the world.

I wish the reality was like the adverts : piles of gleaming, shiny tomatoes and perfect lettuce and meats piled like a Medieval banquet.....you know as opposed to a few bits of shrivelled, soggy lettuce and 4 lumps of vaguely chicken-like muck in the corner of a container.

I'm pretty sure the yoga mat ingredient, which is still served in America, was banned by the EU some time ago.

The subway store I use is great. I won't eat at another local one. Hit or miss in my opinion.

The same can be said for the 99p Burger King burger. Bland to say the least. Unlike the pimped version shown in the adverts!

You know I was predicting someone would reply with something like "what? You mean adverts lie?" etc, and yeah BK are overpriced awfulness, but the disparity between the Subway ads and reality is possibly the most chasm-like out there.

Store dependent, the one I go to is fine, others have been less so

All the branches in the County I'm in have only ever been bad. indicative of rubbish managers I suppose.

Love this stuff.

They did put hydrogenated vegetable oil in their bread (this stuff is banned in many countries due to bodies inability to break it down & resultant health conditions & illnesses) but I believe they have now removed it?! Same evil stuff many fast food restaurants still use to fry their food in.
