Alright everyone.

I was in my local subway in Belfast and they are doing a deal were you can buy any regular footlong for 4 pounds, thats any footlong off the menu. I thought this was a pretty good deal as most sandwhichs are usually about 3.20 anyways. Not sure if this is just a local thing or Countrywide but i just thought i would spread the news.

Also in the subway in St Georges Market, Belfast they do a meal deal for an extra quid of a drink, a cookie AND a packet of crisps for a quid extra.

Again not sure if this is a local thing or country wide but just thought i would spread the word.

Cheers

Not really, I think a footlong sub packed full of salad as a takeaway meal will be far more filling and have a lot more salad on then a big mac and fries for the same sort of cash.

Have you had a foot long sandwich before DJNG?
Normal people would satisfy with 2 sandwiches from a pack in super market.
Even half a foot long subway sandwiches are more filling than supermarket pack of sandwich.
I seriously can't finish a foot long myself. I usually buy a foot long and save one half for next day.

they give you a book full of coupons at our subway with any purchase with this and a load of other offers in. The breakfast subs are only 99p at the mo and with one of the coupons you get a free coffee so a sub and a coffee for 99p:thumbsup:

The banner out of the front was professional, i.e, looked like ti was mass produced by subway, thats why i thought it might be a national deal. But hey a footlong, drink, crisps and cookie for a fiver cant be bad, i know where i am oging for lunch again today.

A 'Dispatches' documentary on sandwiches a couple of weeks ago revealed Subway as by far the worst for salt, one sandwich had more salt than 18 bags of walkers crisps !!!!!!

Didn't that tv programme on sandwiches a couple of weeks ago reveal Subway as by far the worst for salt, one sandwich had more salt than 18 bags of walkers crisps !!!!!!

If you have meatball marinara yes, that is terrible as for other subs no. Like everything eat sensibly, a subway with the right choice of bread, no cheese, ham, turkey or beef with lots of fresh salad and low fat sauce is a really healthy choice, and FAR better than prepacked sandwich options from other places.
