Suede, hmm... I do like them occasionally but they sound quite dated now. Blur will always be my favourite 'Britpop' band.

Good price for this item though, heat added.

Both bands were around at the same time :? Suede were not Britpop by the way!

Yes I know, but the stuff Suede put out around the mid-nineties hasn't aged well (Coming Up, 1996) compared to what Blur produced around then. And regarding Britpop I would say that Blur and Suede were the fore-runners back in 1993 with Modern Life Is Rubbish and Suede.

I personally wouldn't say Coming Up has dated that badly, By The Sea and Picnic By The Motorway don't even remotely sound "Britpop" but each to their own I guess. There again I never really rated or liked Blur or the stupid Britpop tag bands of the 90s were given....especially Verve and Suede....Verve were more influenced by the shoegaze movement, and Suede from glam rock and Bowie.

Weren't Suede once managed by Ricky Gervais, or have I imagined this? Maybe I've had a bang on the head!

Suede are my all time fav band and this DVD is great for any fan. All their vids and some rare footage too.

And yes Ricky Gervais did indeed manage them, albeit for a very short period!

My fave band of all time. Saw them as early as them playing at 'The Falcon' in Camden and saw their farewell gig at the Astoria. Probably about 50 times! Oh and made it onto their concert video for the first album.
Sad I know, but I can't explain why I was so obsessive!
