Sugar snap peas are amazing - crispy, sweet, great snack, good for weight loss. Stop eating rubbish like crisps and give these a try. Buy some hummus maybe to dip them in to switch it up? That's what you call a whole foods snack. But trust me, you don't need the hummus - they're amazing just eaten on their own raw.

Delicious Low Carb Healthy Snack.

I've never seen such a good deal on sugar snap peas!

Good deal, but Waitrose SNP's are nicer. Less fibrous, bit sweeter, far easier to enjoy raw. Plus you get 200g at Waitrose, Lidly only 150g.

Lidl - 0.39p gram, Waitrose 0.44p gram. - slightly different varieties slightly different price, slight different companies - :3
#4
Aldi 59p :p

My faves are Waitrose and M&S. Both usually 3 times price of Aldi and Lidl, an there is a reason. They are nicer - sweeter, less fibrous. Stiff fibre are annoying as they kind of defeat the point of SNP's - you sometimes end up with stuff fibres that need to be spat out.

If you are new to them, try these.

but 6 packs and get free coffee and newspaper at waitrose!

On Waitrose website it says they are half price 80p (usually are £1.60)
they're also available as one of your PYO offers so takes another 20% off that making them 64p per pack.

Becca - you are right. Thank you. Just checked my receipt - I paid 83p. Actually the 20% is applied on the FULL price of £1.66!! So it comes to 49.8p ... call it 50p! Wowzer.

83p half price - (20% of £1.66) =
83p - 33p = 50p total

are you sure, it should give you 20% off, what they scan at.(individual pack, good when on multi buy)
so as they are now 80p you should get a discount of 16p meaning they cost 64p
if you are correct i would love to see the receipt as ive never known waitrose to glitch like that

no, it doesn't work like that. It will only give you 20% off the price the item scans at i.e. 80p. It does not give 20% off the £1.60 as you say. Bought 2 today so I know ;)

Ah ok - interesting.

I once bought a 2 for £5 deal at Waitrose, and it was part of my 20% picks selection. Each inidividual item was £3. When it came to scanning, it gave me 20% discount on £6 ... they might have changed their systems since then as it was a good half yr ago.

Still, 83p - 20% = 64p!

Great deal.

Great deal.
this example, is they scan at £3 so that is the way it works now. my pick simply does not SEE the multibuy.
surely you can copy and post the line on the receipt which says the discount given on the item.

I didn't get the discount ... someone else suggested that it qualifies so I amended the deal, hence why I have not posted the receipt (which i wouldn't do anyway ... this isn't my full time job you know lol). Feel free to do a cold snap or sugar snap or whatever makes your life feel complete

so you found a great deal, so good you did not get any. not forgetting quote "Sugar snap peas are amazing - crispy, sweet, great snack, good for weight loss" you changed the discount 3 times and you cant even get the original price right. the maths in your title is still wrong.

You really are a tool.
Thankfully the vast majority of people on here are grateful when someone makes the effort to post a deal.
