Not that it's got any bearing on the value of the deal, but do you think you could buy the materials needed to make this for less money in the uk, never mind the labour cost ? No wonder our high streets are full of charity shops ( Where the stock is donated and staff work for free) and discount retailers..........small, traditional family businesses don't have a chance.

Great price for what it is though !

same..

oh well, i will pay £30.20.. thanks for everyones help..
#26
It must be based on size, is all I can say. I ordered anyway, as £30 delivered is still pretty cheap - plus you get 60 clubcard vouchers too & 5% quidco, which is about another £1.50. So that makes it under £30.

Home it's not as shiny as bacofoil when it arrives. It'll probably rustle like a bin-bag in the wind and give people static discharge every time you shake hands/make you face north all the time etc. etc.
#27
Ah, that's what's going on - I've ordered the pinstripe one, which is a little bit dearer than the plain black one.

ideal if you're appearing in court and have nothing to wear.

If you wear a £25 suit you are going to look such a tit. Don't even think about it.

err £30.20 actually.. lol
#31
Surely these will look like they are worth this price.
Other sites like Savile Row Co. and Charles Tyrwhitt are much more money but the quality is brilliant. Any other offers on suits/shirts people know of?

That's pure speculation. Until you've seen me in the suit, you can't really pass comment.

Besides - my last suit was modified for my zombie halloween costume last year, where I installed an LCD screen in the front, camera in the back to simulate a shotgun blast through the guts. If it doesn't work out then I suspect that it'll meet a similar fate this year.

Cheaper than hiring a costume!

#36

HEAT! HEAT! HEAT!
#37
Wasnt sure were this £25 had come from myself! POst must have been edited as i listed at £35 as was not aware of the discount code..

I've had a couple of £25 suits from tesco and my work colleagues have been stunned at how good they are, but the ones there at the moment seem dreadful. Their 'super 100' pure wool suits in grey, blue and brown were unbelievable quality and do not look out of place alongside my ysl and ted baker ones, but the cheapy polyester suits look like what they are- cheap suits, and are more in line with what you see in primark or matalan.

Sadly the super 100's are dying out and tesco are being a bit stingier with the prices- even reduced you'd be lucky to get one for £50, which believe me is still an absolute steal. These, on the other hand, are only just worthy even of their ridiculous price tag. Not for me but useful for something I'm sure.
#39
I'm wearing a tesco suit today which is really nice.. But it was from a much more expensive range... So I am a little scared of these...
#40
Not good - 100% polyester material will go shiny, be noisy to the touch, make you hot and will look like a cheap nasty suit.

Something like the linen blend or the travel suits with some wool in the mix will be a much better bet if you are going to spend £50 or less - still very cheap but I would wager they will look far far better than the cheap of the cheap ones

I would rather go to a charity shop and look for a better bame M&S or Next suit for £25 than this one, if that is all your budget is

Also things like the M&S sale have far better wool suits for not much more money. I picked up a £200 suit for £62 last week and its great
