As far as I know, it's only available 'on-street'. Askthe guy holding a subway notice. I have been stacking these vouchers since 2 weeks now, as I really love subway :whistling:
#8
better hot foot it down there then.

Cheers

Is this not just there 2 can dine offer? 2 x 6" subs + 2 x drink + 2 x crisps - £5.99

Anyway, nice find, I like a good Subway only proplem is most of them are a decent car journey away, I must either move closer or work closer to a store! lol.

nice one edi....

oooo I remember the time when my local subway did a promotion without coupons. Buy 1/2 get 1/2 free or buy 1 get 1 free. I had subways for lunch and dinner almost everyday that month until I got sick of it.
#11
I always feel when I see Subway's tag line that they're on dodgy ground, when you consider that the majority of their fillings are frozen, not fresh.
#12
Is the sliced meat frozen too?

Yup.

From memory, the only things that aren't frozen are salad items and tuna (canned).
#14
As long as it's fresh from the freezer and tastes good, I, to be frank, couldn't give a damn. 95% of "fresh" food I bet has been frozen to delay its un-freshy-ness-ness (shh) so... yeh. Subway <3
#15
Their meatball is not frozen. But I did get stomach ache after eating those a few times before I finally figure out it is because of the meatball sandwich.

They have stopped the 2 dine for £5.99 offer now. Well around here they have anyway. I used it quite a bit whilst it was on.
#17
2 can dine for 5.99 still on =

2 6" sub's + 2 cookies/crisps + 2 medium drinks
#18
i love subway! Hot!

funny you should say that about the meatballs, Slash, my OH wont have them cos he's sure they made him ill. Maybe he's right!

Totally agree with this. They're now bringing out adverts saying freezing 'locks in the nutrients'.

Subway rules! Personal favourite: Meatball marinara, cheese, onions & mayo. Mmmmmm :)

In London, it ended the 29/06.
But there is the same offer with one of the voucher available 'on-street'.

Tuesday sub of the day:Meatballs, cheese, green peppers, onions, jalapenos and chilli sauce.
Loverly!!!!!!!

Thursday: Italian BMT, Salami, pepperoni, ham, cheese and loads of salad with south west sauce-you would be hard pushed to make a sandwich of this quality for the money if you had to buy all the ingredients!
#23
just phoned my local branch in upminster, eventually understood what the guy said but no vouchers :(

this branch also stopped sub of the day a few months back, ive stopped going there cos its too expensive otherwise.

Ahhh...they are! All their meat is frozen, apart from tuna which is tinned. I used to work there.

The meatballs get 'cooked' in the microwave.

Thanks for that. I have 4 of them in my area that I inspect, so I wasn't 100% sure that everything meat based was frozen. From memory, the meatballs are already cooked and are just defrosted and re-heated in the microwave.

Had a look at one of their cans of tuna, and it had an expiry date of 2030!:w00t:

I can well believe what youre saying i bet it is mostly frozen and microwaving the meatballs doesnt suprise me at all,ive seen burgers being whacked in the microwave at burger king to warm them up

True.

My original issue with them is that they have the motto 'Eat Fresh' - kinda a false claim when you consider the facts.

I do quite like Subway though.:whistling:
#29
whether its frozen or fresh....subway just rocks....with these deals...its more promising :D

I can see the issue with the "Eat Fresh" slogan, but when I worked in a supermarket all the 'fresh' bakery items like doughnuts, cookies etc. were all frozen when delivered. It's the way of the huge corporations now unfortunately.
#33
Subway = yum! Thanks for the heads up - HOT :).
#34
voted cold! I live out in the sticks and therefore cannot get access to these booklets as the closer stores will never employ these people.

Why not make the booklets available to everyone eh?
#35
I got the coupons today, 2 leaflets - and only for my local store not any others. Not so hot now

Think you're getting confused with regular leaflets. The one in OP is a booklet which is almost valid anywhere :)
#37
Didn't see any in my local Subway. Felt too cheeky to go and ask from the counter so I walk out empty handed.
#38
I must live in the only town in Western civilisation that doesn't have a Subway.
:-(
