I'm looking for a 10" Android tablet with similar specs and so far found the Eken A90, but they're all on back order
The lack of buttons makes a tablet not great for emulators imho, same as with a touchscreen phone.
Suspect it'll be powerful enough.
I dont want to be plugging my own stuff on here (I sell a few tablets) but I would say try the Ainol Novo 7 Advanced 2. You can get these for about £105 delivered.
Minimum resolution / spec worth bothering with is 1G ram 1024x600
(Lower spec could be ok but not with the effort that the Chinese put into their firmware).
You should elf's for £105 be decent money in it in volume.

I will probably start doing elf's soon but I doubt I could do them for £105.
OTOH the 3200mAh battery may mean a lower battery life compared to Ployer Momo9 models with 4200mAh.
ICS uses quite a lot more ram than gingerbread. 512MB is perfectly workable but I'd rather have 1gb given the option.
I definitely can understand the sentiment, I'm just suggesting that a shorter battery life will be more perceptible than the minimal real world benefits anyone has noticed from having 1gb instead of 512mb.
There's not a lot of good information on how much memory is optimal for ICS, but it appears that 256mb is minimum. 512mb is more than enough to run a few apps, and have other apps stored in memory for the next use. 1gb will likely just mean that more apps will be stored in the memory (since Android tries to use as much of the available memory as it can).
I'd done some searching before my original post trying to gauge how a 1gb tablet performs in the real world compared with an identical 512mb model, and the few posts I've found suggest that there's no real difference.

Do your own research please, but i have been looking about for a while and after seeing the discussion on this one on Slatedriod I thought it sounded great.
Do beware if you go for it but converted into £ it should come in at about £130 and I run the risk of maybe some extra on customs duty which sounds great value to me. There are similar variations of the same tablet with less storage and a poorer battery (but available on Futeko if you are happier dealing with them).
Haven't got mine yet so can't vouch how good it is, should arrive by end of this week.
You should be looking at adding 20% VAT plus a courier admin fee for importing which should bring you in to around £165. 9.7" ICS tablets seem to be going for around the £170 - £180 in the UK which if it comes to that cost means it almost certainly isn't worth importing it.
Just looking at the chineese supplier link above it would cost you about £88 + £7 tax + £11 handling charge of delivery company = £106 in total for the tablets that I sell (Ainol Novo7 Advanced 2) for £105 delivered (inc sleeve and screen protector). So the cost is almost the same
But, they potentially leave on chineese apps and the google market does not offer you all the apps on offer, which may cause you issues. So best to buy from here as you have some support.
The Chinese supplied tablet northtim linked to has a 9.7" IPS screen though. Does the Ainol have an IPS screen? The battery capacity is huge even for a large tablet.
Ignore that last sentence big_ndn, I see the point you were making now! Need to go to bed. :)
The only thing that would worry me is if something goes wrong, you have to send it back to China.
Looks like a really good buy, though you (northerntim) underestimate the import fees that would be liable. Even if the seller declares a lower value on it, Customs are not stupid, they would know roughly the price range items like this would sell at. I think £25 would be nearer the mark for that item.

Hello northtim,
I think you might have found a good thing there. Please let me know about your hands-on experience later. Can't wait! The reviews were excellent as well.
CHEERS!
I got a Cube U9GT from Stormium, they're really good. £125 delivered, I didn't have to pay any import tax but that seems hit or miss, you probably should always factor that into your cost price. Even with tax, it comes to £150 for a quality 7 inch tablet with returns to the UK rather than China, so I'm pretty happy :) They have a few 10 inch ones for a bit more too
Thanx i had a look, it seemed excellent but i think 7" is too small (_;)

Noticed it also says 4gb internal storage too vs Ebuyers listed 8gb.....is that all internal, or a 4gb internal + 4gb microSD combo?
http://www.sum-vision.co.uk/productinfo/cyclonetablet/cyclonetablet_astro.asp which is 1gb and 8gb ram
the link there even compares to The Astro to the Astro+ at the bottom of the page......so either Ebuyer are misselling their product saying it has more ram and storage than it has.......or they're mistakingly selling the + as the standard
