Hardly - "You must have been a registered member of AVForums.com for at least 14 days"

For those who aren't prepared to wait 14 days, it works out as £32.99 delivered.

Irrelevant comment, what with this being "Go to the today only to get this price" - you can't sign up at avforums as advised and get the product for this price.

no but you can use a tiny amount of common sense and sign up to avforums before you need to use their free delivery.
scan have been doing this for long enough that anyone that pays for delivery does so because of their own choice.
hardly irrelevant comment, seems many people are too stupid to think for themselves so perhaps a little kickstart is all thats needed.

As has been said, this player (along with the majority of stuff from Scan you see here) regularly appears on Scan's TO offers so no need to panic buy if you haven't got free postage at the moment, come back in a couple of weeks and it's bound to turn up again.

Nearly got one of these a couple of weeks ago but then the WD Live deal appeared and the networking won me over. Still, this seems to get good reviews on the whole so if you don't need the ethernet port this looks like a good little player for the money.

These mark 2s are not the best,I have one and the remote is crap to say the least, unresponsive and limited range. I got it for my Dad originally but he found it to frustrating to use so i got him a Sumvision Primus for about £40, much ,much better. Nice GUI and again plays all files. You can even drop a 2tb HDD into it as well. Recent firmware update sorted out native Dolby digital and DTS output from HDMI and optical. This little beut also downmixes digital sound to play on your telly if you do not have an AV reciever.
