Does anyone know if this will support a 2TB Hardrive? Also will it play VOB files directly off a DVD stored on the hard drive?
#10
Tempted by this... What's the main advantage of this over MK1?

And forgive my ignorance but is it possible to get similar functionality out of plugging an external HDD into an xbox 360, or am i completely offbase there?
#11
this will play vob files, also plays mkv files so will play proper hi-def 1080p content whereas the mk1 could only upscale. dont know how big a hard drive it supports though. i bought a mk1 about 2 months ago for 20 quid and its been excellent.

Although great for watching downloaded films, does anyone make a similar device that actually records AVI Video from say a Sky or similar AV output onto a usb stick/card?

Do these come with a remote control? if not - how do you navigate through all the files that you have on the sd card?

also - does anyone know how user friendly the interface is - is it something that my non technical parents would be able to worrk out - or do i need to go for the more expensive western digital options?
#16
yes, it does come with remote. just got one, and they are great little devices for playing back movies.
interface is very easy to use, just navigate through using the remote.
