Confusing info on 7-day web site.
They state: Please note: The Sumvision Cyclone Micro HD Movie Player does not currently support MP4 files

States under specs: Video: MPEG1/2/4 (MPG, VOB, AVI), DIVX (AVI), XVID (AVI), resolution up to 720 x 480 30fps / 720 x 576 25fps.

So, I wonder which files are actually supported?
I dont know if there has been a firmware update for this or something but mine does not support mp4, i have to convert files to avi but it isnt a problem, just a bit time consuming if you know what i mean
Let's try and get some heat in here!

Onkyo don't make media players and if they did.....
I got one of these from ebuyer for a similar price and I think they are fantastic. It supports full DVD menus, so if like me you rip you DVD collection to VOB / IFO / TS then you can just copy straight to a USB and off you go. Upscaling isn't too bad. Not sure about MP4 support as I don't use it, but DIVX and XVID I have both tried and worked very well. Also comes with a standard video cable so you can plug into non HDMI e.g. SCART.

Have some heat...
i have one and mp4 playback is a bit hit and miss, like the other poster said just convert to avi.very handy to take away with you
usually cheaper at least once a week at zoombits/r4i - infact its cheaper right now with the generic code 24offs @ 19.45 and is often cheaper

So, I wonder which files are actually supported?"
i dont think mpeg4 is the same as mp4 here so basically supported as they say
compatability is written codec(format)
